Acting Head of Council means the Deputy Mayor and secondly another designate who shall act as the presiding officer in the absence of the Mayor or Deputy Mayor.

Acting Head of Council means the Deputy Mayor who, in the absence of the Head of Council shall have the authority of the Head of Council and will preside at meetings of Council.
