Affected Federal Employee definition

Affected Federal Employee means a full-time or part-time indeterminate employee of Canada who has been issued a Notice of Alternative Delivery Initiative pursuant to section 7.10.
Affected Federal Employee means a career or career-conditional Service employee at the NBRC:
Affected Federal Employee means each indeterminate NAO employee who receives a job offer from the GNWT and a notice from Canada of alternative delivery initiative pursuant to Part VII of the Federal Workforce Adjustment Directive or equivalent provisions of any collective agreement applicable to such employee.

  • Such offer of employment shall be made at a date to be agreed to by the GC and the GN so that the date of the offer received by each Affected Federal Employee is no later than six months prior to the Transfer Date.

  • Each Affected Federal Employee shall have one additional opportunity to choose a different employment option during the term of this AFA.

  • At its discretion, the CSKT may directly employ each Affected Federal Employee who elects that option.

  • The Service and the CSKT agree that extending the initial period of assignment for each Affected Federal Employee will continue to benefit the Service and the CSKT for the full term of this AFA and each subsequent AFA, except for a retrocession or reassumption under AFA Sections 18.B or 18.C below, or cancellation for cause in accordance with Section 13.F.5.c below.

  • Promptly after executing this AFA, the Service and the CSKT will discuss with each Affected Federal Employee all available options for her or his em- ployment under this AFA.

  • After any Affected Federal Employee has chosen to work under an IPA assignment, the Service and the CSKT will promptly execute an IPA agreement for that employee.

  • As agreed by the Affected Federal Employee and the CSKT, either CSKT benefits or Federal benefits will be provided.

  • Affected employee means an employee who would be affected by the grant or denial of a variance, or any one of the employee’s authorized representatives, such as the collective bargaining agent.

  • Tipped employee means any employee engaged in an occupation in which s/he customarily and regularly receives more than $30 per month in tips. Tips include amounts designated as a tip by credit card customers on their charge slips. Nothing in this rule prevents an employer from requiring employees to share or allocate such tips or gratuities on a pre-established basis among other employees who customarily and regularly receive tips. Employer-required sharing of tips with employees who do not customarily and regularly receive tips, such as management or food preparers, or deduction of credit card processing fees from tipped employees, shall nullify allowable tip credits towards the minimum wage.

  • Small employer means any employer that had total revenue of less than five hundred thousand dollars during the preceding taxable year. For purposes of this division, "total revenue" means receipts of any type or kind, including, but not limited to, sales receipts; payments; rents; profits; gains, dividends, and other investment income; commissions; premiums; money; property; grants; contributions; donations; gifts; program service revenue; patient service revenue; premiums; fees, including premium fees and service fees; tuition payments; unrelated business revenue; reimbursements; any type of payment from a governmental unit, including grants and other allocations; and any other similar receipts reported for federal income tax purposes or under generally accepted accounting principles. "Small employer" does not include the federal government; any state government, including any state agency or instrumentality; any political subdivision; or any entity treated as a government for financial accounting and reporting purposes.

  • School employee means (1) a teacher, substitute teacher, school administrator, school superintendent, guidance counselor, psychologist, social worker, nurse, physician, school paraprofessional or coach employed by a local or regional board of education or working in a public elementary, middle or high school; or (2) any other individual who, in the performance of his or her duties, has regular contact with students and who provides services to or on behalf of students enrolled in a public elementary, middle or high school, pursuant to a contract with the local or regional board of education.

  • Excluded Employee means an employee as defined in section 3527, subd. (b) of the Government Code (Ralph C. Dills Act) except those excluded employees who are designated managerial pursuant to section 18801.1 of the Government Code.

  • Designated Retirement Account means any retirement plan or account described or qualified under the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, or a subaccount thereof.

  • Disability Retirement Date means the first day of the month following the last day of paid employment;

  • Qualified employment position means a permanent full-time

  • City Managerial Employee means the City Manager, the Assistant City Manager, the City Clerk, and any City department head or director.   • Public school employer means a public employer that is the board of a school district, intermediate school district, or public school academy; is the chief executive officer of a school district in which a school reform board is in place under part 5A of the revised school code, 1976 PA 451, MCL 380.371 to 380.376; or is the governing board of a joint endeavor or consortium consisting of any combination of school districts,

  • Protected Employee means any employee of the Company or an Affiliate who was employed by Company or an Affiliate at any time within six (6) months prior to the termination of Grantee’s employment for any reason or any earlier date of an alleged breach by Grantee of the restrictions in Section 17 hereof.

  • Public employer means the State of Oregon, and the following political subdivisions:

  • Multi-employer Plan means a multi-employer plan, as defined in Section 4001(a)(3) of ERISA to which the Borrower or any Subsidiary of the Borrower or any ERISA Affiliate is making or accruing an obligation to make contributions or has within any of the preceding five plan years made or accrued an obligation to make contributions.

  • Eligible Retirement Plan means an individual retirement account described in Section 408(a) of the Code, an individual retirement annuity described in Section 408(b) of the Code, an annuity plan described in Section 403(a) of the Code, or a qualified trust described in Section 401(a) of the Code, that accepts the Distributee's Eligible Rollover Distribution. However, in the case of an Eligible Rollover Distribution to the surviving Spouse, an Eligible Retirement Plan is an individual retirement account or individual retirement annuity.

  • Eligible Retiree means a retired employee of the GROUP who is receiving retirement benefits from GROUP and is entitled to Medicare part A and enrolled in Medicare part B. If this Agreement includes Group Plan 65, an Eligible Retiree who selects Group Plan 65 shall be eligible as an individual. Such Eligible Retiree shall not be deemed to have any dependents who can select Group Plan 65.

  • Affected Employees means those employees who are exposed to the hazard(s) identified as a violation(s) in a citation.
