Air toxics definition

Air toxics means the air pollutants that have been determined by the EQC to cause, or reasonably be anticipated to cause, adverse effects to human health or the environment and are listed in OAR 340-245-8020 Table 2.
Air toxics means those pollutants known or suspected to cause cancer or other serious health effects, including but not limited to "hazardous air pollutants" or "HAPs" listed by the EPA pursuant tounder section 112(b) of the Federal Clean Air Act.
Air toxics means the air pollutants listed in OAR 340-245-8020 Table 2. Such pollutants are known to cause adverse health effects when present at high enough concentrations in ambient air and when people inhale them for a sufficient length of time with sufficient frequency.

More Definitions of Air toxics

Air toxics means the air pollutants listed in OAR 340-245-8020 Table 2 that are known to cause adverse health effects when present at high enough concentrations in ambient air and when people inhale them for a sufficient length of time with sufficient frequency. If this definition conflicts with the definition in OAR chapter 340 division 245, then the definition in OAR chapter 340 division 245 must be used.
