Alternate PSAP definition

Alternate PSAP means a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) designated to receive calls when the primary PSAP is unable to do so.

Alternate PSAP is the PSAP designated by the controlling 9-1-1 Authority to receive a 9-1-1 call in the event the Selective Router is unable to complete the 9-1-1 call to the Designated PSAP because the PSAP trunks are busy or out of service. A Designated PSAP may have one or more alternates, depending upon network architecture and local provisions.

Examples of Alternate PSAP in a sentence

Related to Alternate PSAP

  • Alternate Recipient means any Child of a Participant who is recognized under a Medical Child Support Order as having a right to enrollment under this Plan as the Participant’s eligible Dependent. For purposes of the benefits provided under this Plan, an Alternate Recipient shall be treated as an eligible Dependent, but for purposes of the reporting and disclosure requirements under ERISA, an Alternate Recipient shall have the same status as a Participant.

  • Alternate Consideration shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5(e).

  • Alternate Director means a person elected or appointed to serve, as the occasion requires, as a member of the board of a company in substitution for a particular elected or appointed director of that company;

  • Alternate Payee means any spouse, former spouse, child, or other dependent of a Participant who is recognized by a qualified domestic relations order as having a right to receive all, or a portion of, the benefits payable under a Plan with respect to such Participant.

  • Alternative Benchmark Rate means an alternative benchmark or screen rate which is customarily applied in international debt capital markets transactions for the purposes of determining floating rates of interest (or the relevant component part thereof) in the Specified Currency, provided that all determinations will be made by the Independent Adviser in its reasonable discretion.

  • Alternate Judgment means a form of final judgment that may be entered by the Court herein but in a form other than the form of Judgment provided for in this Stipulation.

  • Conference bridging service means an ancillary service that links 2 or more participants of an audio or video conference call and may include the provision of a telephone number, but does not include the telecommunications services used to reach the conference bridge.
