Analytical batch definition

Analytical batch means a group of samples that are prepared together for the same analysis and analyzed sequentially using the same instrument calibration curve and common analytical quality control checks.
Analytical batch means a group of samples, standards, and blanks which are analyzed together with the same method sequence and same lots of reagents and with the manipulations common to each sample within the same time period usually no more than 24 hours. Batch size is usually limited to instrument loading capacity.
Analytical batch means a set of no more than 20 samples that is prepared together for the same analysis and are prepared with laboratory quality control (LQC) samples.

More Definitions of Analytical batch

Analytical batch means a set of no more than twenty samples that are prepared together for the same type of analysis, are sequentially analyzed using the same instrument calibration curve, and have common analytical quality control requirements. The batch shall include testing samples as well as all applicable quality control samples, to include one method blank, duplicate laboratory fortified blanks, and duplicate matrix spikes, as required by the analytical method.
Analytical batch means a batch composed of prepared environmental samples (extracts, digestates or concentrates) that are analyzed together as a group. An analytical batch can include prepared samples originating from various environmental matrices and can exceed 20 samples.
