  • The service provided by ATCO Gas hereunder is regulated by the Alberta Utilities Commission (“AUC”) and parties having any inquiries or complaints regarding these Terms and Conditions may direct such inquiries or complaints directly to ATCO Gas or to the AUC.

  • These Terms and Conditions will also govern the relationship between ATCO Gas and Retailer(s), DSP’s or any other person whom the Customer has assigned to act on its behalf in its dealings with ATCO Gas, regarding the provision of Gas Distribution Service on its Gas Pipeline System.

  • In its role as a Gas Distribution Service provider, ATCO Gas will enable Retailers and the Default Supply Provider ("DSP") to acquire access to its Gas Pipeline System for the purposes of allowing them to sell Gas directly to Customers.

  • In accordance with the provisions of the Gas Utilities Act ("GUA") and the Regulations made thereunder ("Regulations"), ATCO Gas an operating division of ATCO Gas and Pipelines Ltd.

  • The measurement adjustments relating to ATCO Gas Australia are reconciled by the market operator and settled between the parties.

  • NGL means natural gas liquids.

  • Pipeline means any pipe, pipes, or pipelines used for the intrastate transportation or transmission of any solid, liquid, or gaseous substance, except water.

  • Fossil fuel means natural gas, petroleum, coal, or any form of solid, liquid, or gaseous fuel derived from such material.

  • Transport Gas means the gas purchased by a Customer from a supplier other than KUB that Customer has arranged to have Delivered to KUB for delivery to the Customer by KUB.

  • Fossil fuel-fired means the combustion of fossil fuel or any derivative of fossil fuel, alone or in combination with any other fuel, independent of the percentage of fossil fuel consumed in any calendar year (expressed in mmBtu).

  • Natural Gas or “Gas” means wet gas, dry gas, all other gaseous hydrocarbons, and all substances contained therein, including sulphur and helium, which are produced from oil or gas xxxxx, excluding those condensed or extracted liquid hydrocarbons that are liquid at normal temperature and pressure conditions, and including the residue Gas remaining after the condensation or extraction of liquid hydrocarbons from Gas such that any Gas sold under this Agreement shall be of the quality as indicated in Clause 7.

  • Greenhouse Gas means carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, hydrofluorocarbons, perfluorocarbons, and sulfur hexafluoride.

  • Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel means diesel fuel that has a sulfur content of no more than fifteen parts per million.

  • Imbalance Energy means the amount of energy in MWh, in any given Settlement Period or Settlement Interval, by which the amount of Facility Energy deviates from the amount of Scheduled Energy.

  • Feedstock Gas means natural gas used as a raw material for its chemical properties in creating an end product.

  • STP means the temperature of fifteen degrees Celsius (15°C) and at a pressure of one hundred and one decimal three two five kilopascals (101.325 kPa).

  • CBM means Capacity Benefit Margin.

  • Transportation Company means any organization which provides its own or its leased vehicles for transportation or which provides freight forwarding or air express services.

  • Natural gas company ’ means a person engaged in the transportation of natural gas in interstate commerce, or the sale in inter- state commerce of such gas for resale.

  • Net Energy The total quantity of electric energy (measured in kilowatt hours) produced by the Facility over a given time period and delivered to the Point of Interconnection, as measured by the revenue meter. "Net Energy" the equivalent of "Actual Output."

  • Gas means natural gas, manufactured gas, synthetic natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas or propane-air gas, or a mixture of any of them, but does not include a liquefied petroleum gas that is distributed by means other than a pipeline;

  • Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS) means the rechargeable energy storage system that provides electric energy for electrical propulsion.

  • Electric distribution company (EDC) means any electric utility subject to the jurisdiction of the Commission.

  • LNG means liquefied natural gas.

  • Associated Gas means the gas cap overlying a crude oil accumulation in a reservoir.

  • Gasification means the substoichiometric oxidation or steam reformation of a substance to produce a gaseous mixture containing two or more of the following: (i) oxides of carbon; (ii) methane; and (iii) hydrogen;

  • Fuel Gas means Gas used as fuel for the operation of the Transportation System.

  • Geothermal energy means energy contained in heat that continuously flows outward from the earth that is used as the sole source of energy to produce electricity.

  • Compressed natural gas means a mixture of hydrocarbon gases and vapors that consists primarily of methane in gaseous form that has been compressed for use as a fuel to propel a motor vehicle.
