Authorization Only Cards means credit cards bearing the American Express or Diners Club identifying logos; and “Approved Cards” shall mean the Bank Cards, Debit Cards and Authorization Only Cards identified for processing by Bank. The holder of an Approved Card shall be hereinafter referred to as a Cardholder. Merchant must provide Bank written notice, not less than thirty (30) days in advance, of its election to accept only one of the following types of cards: (i) “Off-line Debit Cards”, or (ii) “Credit Cards.” Merchant understands and acknowledges, however, that Merchant, not Bank, is solely responsible for assuring, by whatever means, that its accepts only such elected type of cards.

  • Service Authorization means that Open Ecosystem Partner needs to meet specific qualification requirements for the products included in a “Service” Product Family that Open Ecosystem Partner wants to promote and offer Services for as set out in detail in the Open Ecosystem Program Guide.

  • Consents, Clearances and Permits means all authorizations, licenses, approvals, registrations, permits, waivers, privileges, acknowledgements, agreements, or concessions required to be obtained from or provided by any concerned authority for the purpose of setting up of the generation facilities and/ or supply of power;

  • Free appropriate public education means special education and related services that are provided at public expense and under public supervision and direction, and without charge, meet the standards of the Department of Public Instruction, include an appropriate preschool, elementary or secondary school education; and are provided in conformity with an IEP.

  • Product Authorizations means any and all approvals, including applicable supplements, amendments, pre- and post-approvals, clearances, licenses, notifications, registrations, certifications or authorizations of any Governmental Authority, any Standard Body necessary for the manufacture, development, distribution, use storage, import, export, transport, promotion, marketing, sale or other commercialization of a Product in any country or jurisdiction.

  • business name or "trade name" means the name of a licensed business as used by the licensee on signs and advertising.

  • Authorization means, with respect to any Person, any order, permit, approval, consent, waiver, licence or similar authorization of any Governmental Entity having jurisdiction over the Person.

  • Federal work authorization program means any of the electronic verification of work authorization programs operated by the United States Department of Homeland Security or any equivalent federal work authorization program operated by the United States Department of Homeland Security to verify information of newly hired employees, pursuant to the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA), D.L. 99-603.

  • ACH Authorization means the ACH Debit Authorization Agreement in substantially the form of Exhibit H, which account numbers shall be redacted for security purposes if and when filed publicly by the Borrower.

  • Authorization Letter means a letter agreement executed by Borrower in the form of EXHIBIT A.

  • Business License means a license issued by the Department to a medical marijuana dispensary, grower, processor, testing laboratory, or transporter.

  • Conditions of Approval means condition(s) imposed by the Municipality in the approval of a land development application, including any conditions contained in the annexure(s) and/or plans and/or attachment(s) that form part of the approval and/or are referred to in the approval of the land development application;

  • Certificate of authority means the certificate issued by DCBS to a licensed health entity granting authority to transact insurance as a health insurance company or health care service contractor.

  • Regulatory Authorizations means all approvals, clearances, authorizations, registrations, certifications, licenses and permits granted by any Regulatory Authority, including all INDs and NDAs.

  • Abuse of authority means an individual's improper use of power and authority inherent in the position held, by means of intimidation, threats, blackmail or coercion. This comprises actions which endanger an employee's job, undermine an employee's ability to perform the job or threatens the economic livelihood of an employee. However, it shall not include the legitimate exercise of an individual's supervisory power or authority.

  • Approvals means all approvals, consents, authorisations, permissions, licences, resolutions, exemptions, registrations, filings, permits and rights from all government, regulatory and statutory entities and authorities;

  • IRB approval means the determination of the IRB that the research has been reviewed and may be conducted at an institution within the constraints set forth by the IRB and by other institutional and federal requirements.
