Debit Cards definition

Debit Cards means PIN-based Debit Cards and such other debit cards for which the Bank offers card processing services.
Debit Cards are Visa‐branded, MasterCard‐branded, or Discover Network‐branded consumer Cards issued by U.S. Card Issuers that, when presented for payment, access, debit, hold, or settle funds from a consumer’s demand deposit, investment, or other asset account. Examples of Debit Cards include: Visa Classic, Gold, and Platinum Check Cards; Visa Check Card II Check Cards; Visa Buxx Cards; Visa Payroll Cards; Visa Gift Cards; and MasterCard Standard, Gold, and Platinum Debit Cards.

Debit Cards means all prepaid stored value re-loadable and non-reloadable debit cards (including without limitation, payroll cards) or other electronic or digital debit payment mechanisms, which are not restricted to use in any particular named retail location, and all products and services relating to the reloading of stored value on such prepaid debit cards.
Debit Cards means a plastic Card providing online access to the Cardholder’s account with a bank via an electronic data capture terminal, allowing Debit card transactions against the said account, resulting in the immediate debiting of the Cardholder’s account with the total amount of the debit card transactions effected;

Merchant must provide Bank written notice, not less than thirty (30) days in advance, of its election to accept only one of the following types of cards: (i) “Off-line Debit Cards”, or (ii) “Credit Cards.” Merchant understands and acknowledges, however, that Merchant, not Bank, is solely responsible for assuring, by whatever means, that its accepts only such elected type of cards.
Debit Cards. NAVITAIRE currently supports regional debit cards such as Visa Electron (EL), Visa Delta, Visa Connect, Switch/Solo, Maestro, and Xxxxxx. Functionality is fully dependent upon the acquiring bank and / or payment service provider.
