Bills of Lading definition

Bills of Lading means such document used to acknowledge the receipt of a shipment of cargoes.
Bills of Lading means any bill of lading issued pursuant to this Contract as per Clause 28.1 of this STANDARD FORM.

Examples of Bills of Lading in a sentence

  • Description of commodities on all Bills of Lading (which shall be verified by a comparison with the description of the corresponding customs declaration) shall determine the NRA to be applied.

Related to Bills of Lading

  • Bill of lading means a document of title evidencing the receipt of goods for shipment issued by a person engaged in the business of directly or indirectly transporting or forwarding goods. The term does not include a warehouse receipt.

  • Cargo means any property carried on an aircraft other than mail, stores and accompanied or mishandled baggage;

  • Ships means, together, Ship A and Ship B and, in the singular, means either of them;

  • Authorised Users means any of the following to whom You give permission to use the Software as part of Your BlackBerry Solution: (a) any of Your employees, consultants or independent contractors; (b) any friend or family member, or any person that resides in Your premises; and (c) any other person who RIM authorises in writing.
