(cc) "Bioscience development project" means an approved project to implement a project plan in a bioscience development district. (gg) "Biotechnology" means those fields focusing on technological developments in such areas as molecular biology, genetic engineering, genomics, proteomics, physiomics, nanotechnology, biodefense, biocomputing, bioinformatics and future developments associated with biotechnology. The federal contribution for a qualifying project shall be at least 20 percent of the total cost of the demonstration project.

If the Michigan economic development corporation is unable for any reason to perform its duties under this act, those duties may be exercised by the Michigan strategic fund.

  • Initial Development Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 3.2(b).

  • Technology License Agreement means the agreement in the form of Exhibit H hereto.
