Blood Donations definition

Blood Donations. The Air Force encourages it& employees to volunteer as blood donors without compensation. An employee should be excused from work without charge to leave for the time necessary to donate blood or blood products, such as platelets or plasma. for recuperation following blood donation, and for necessary travel to and from the donation site. The maximum excusable time should not exceed 4 hours, except in unusual cases. When the employee must travel a long distance or when unusual need for recuperation OCCW'S, up to an additional 4 hours may be authorized. This does not cover an employee who gives blood for the employee's own use or receives compensation for giving blood. Employees who volunteer but- are rejected as donors for that visit must return to duty or elect paid leave.

  • Contractor shall receive, or be subject to the following leave provisions in the same manner and amount as employees in the Administrative Services Bargaining Unit: Bereavement, Vacation, Holiday, Compulsory, Jury Duty, Witness Leave, and Blood Donations, except that accrue Sick and Vacation.

  • Marijuana wholesaler means a person who purchases marijuana items in this state for resale to a person other than a consumer.

  • Retail marijuana means all parts of the plant of the genus cannabis whether growing or not, the seeds thereof, the resin extracted from any part of the plant, and every compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of the plant, its seeds, or its resin, including but not limited to Retail Marijuana Concentrate, that is cultivated, manufactured, distributed, or sold by a licensed Retail Marijuana Business. “Retail Marijuana” does not include industrial hemp, nor does it include fiber produced from stalks, oil, or cake made from the seeds of the plant, sterilized seed of the plant which is incapable of germination, or the weight of any other Ingredient combined with marijuana to prepare topical or oral administrations, food, drink, or other product. If the context requires, Retail Marijuana includes Retail Marijuana Concentrate and Retail Marijuana Product.
