Botanical cannabis means cannabis that is composed wholly of usable cannabis from the same parts

Botanical cannabis means cannabis that is composed wholly of usable cannabis from the same 982 parts of the same chemovar of cannabis plant. 983 "Cannabis oil" means any formulation of processed Cannabis plant extract, which may include 984 industrial hemp extracts, including isolates and distillates, acquired by a pharmaceutical processor 985 pursuant to § 54.1-3442.6, or a dilution of the resin of the Cannabis plant that contains no more than 10 986 milligrams of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol tetrahydrocannabinol per dose. "Cannabis oil" does not 987 include industrial hemp, as defined in § 3.2-4112, that is grown, dealt handled, or processed in compliance 988 with state or federal law, unless it has been grown and processed in the Commonwealth by a registered 989 industrial hemp processor and acquired and formulated by a pharmaceutical processor. 990 "Cannabis product" means a product that is (i) produced by a pharmaceutical processor, registered 991 with the Board, and compliant with testing requirements and (ii) composed of cannabis oil or botanical 992 cannabis. 993 "Designated caregiver facility" means any hospice or hospice facility licensed pursuant to § 32.1- 994 162.3, or home care organization as defined in § 32.1-162.7 that provides pharmaceutical services or home 995 health services, private provider licensed by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental 996 Services pursuant to Article 2 (§ 37.2-403 et seq.) of Chapter 4 of Title 37.2, assisted living facility 997 licensed pursuant to § 63.2-1701, or adult day care center licensed pursuant to § 63.2-1701. 998 "Practitioner" means a practitioner of medicine or osteopathy licensed by the Board of Medicine, 999 a physician assistant licensed by the Board of Medicine, or a nurse practitioner jointly licensed by the 1000 Board of Medicine and the Board of Nursing. 1001 "Registered agent" means an individual designated by a patient who has been issued a written 1002 certification, or, if such patient is a minor or a vulnerable adult as defined in § 18.2-369, designated by 1003 such patient's parent or legal guardian, and registered with the Board pursuant to subsection G. 1004 "Usable cannabis" means any cannabis plant material, including seeds, but not (i) resin that has 1005 been extracted from any part of the cannabis plant, its seeds, or its resin; (ii) the mature stalks, fiber 1006 produced from the stalks, or any other compound, manufacture, salt, or derivative, mixture, or preparation 1007 of the ma...

  • Bioassay means the determination of kinds, quantities or concentrations and, in some cases, the locations of radioactive material in the human body, whether by direct measurement, in vivo counting, or by analysis and evaluation of materials excreted or removed from the human body. For purposes of these rules, “radiobioassay” is an equivalent term.

  • Cannabis cultivator means any licensed person or entity that grows, cultivates, or produces cannabis in this State, and sells, and may transport, this cannabis to other cannabis cultivators, or usable cannabis to cannabis manufacturers, cannabis wholesalers, or cannabis retailers, but not to consumers.

  • Polyolefin Adhesive means an aerosol adhesive designed to bond polyolefins to substrates.

  • Cannabidiol means a finished preparation containing, of its total cannabinoid content, at least 98 percent cannabidiol and not more than 0.90 percent tetrahydrocannabinol by volume that has been extracted from marijuana or synthesized in a laboratory.

  • Collaborative drug therapy management means participation by an authorized pharmacist and a physician in the management of drug therapy pursuant to a written community practice protocol or a written hospital practice protocol.

  • Assistive technology device means any item, piece of equipment, or product system that is used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capacities of a child with a disability.

  • Tissue means a portion of the human body other than an organ or an eye. The term does not include blood unless the blood is donated for the purpose of research or education.

  • Manufacturing Technology means any and all patents, patent applications, know-how, and all intellectual property rights associated therewith that are owned or controlled by Licensor, and including all tangible embodiments thereof, that are necessary or useful for the manufacture of adeno-associated viruses, adeno-associated virus vectors, research or commercial reagents related thereto, Licensed Products, or other products, including manufacturing processes, technical information relating to the methods of manufacture, protocols, standard operating procedures, batch records, assays, formulations, quality control data, specifications, scale up, any and all improvements, modifications, and changes thereto, and any and all activities associated with such manufacture. Any and all chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC), drug master files (DMFs), or similar materials provided to regulatory authorities and the information contained therein are deemed Manufacturing Technology.
