Brazilian Employees means Employees listed on Schedule 14.1.1 employed primarily in (or, in the case of expatriate Employees, whose home country is) Brazil immediately prior to the Closing;

Examples of Brazilian Employees in a sentence

  • The Parent shall, and shall cause the applicable Transferred Subsidiary in Brazil to, employ those Brazilian Employees set forth on Appendix I to this Agreement who are on an approved leave of absence (“licença”) as of the Closing Date, to the extent required by applicable Law or who return to active duty within six (6) months following the Closing Date.

  • Newly hired employee or “New Hire” means any employee, whether permanent, full-time, or part-time, hired by the Office and who is still employed as of the date of new employee orientation. It also includes all employees who are or have been previously employed by the Office and whose current position has placed them in the bargaining unit represented by CSEA. For those latter employees, for purposes of this article only, the “date of hire” is the date upon which the employees’ employment status changed as such that the employee was placed in the CSEA unit.

  • Excluded Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 14.1.

  • Casual Employees are employed on an "on call" basis to cover absences due to sick leave, vacation, or other approved leaves, or to augment staff during peak periods or periods of staff shortage.

  • Key Employees means Xxxxx Xxxxxxx and Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxx.

  • Expatriate means an internationally recruited staff member, who is not a citizen or permanent resident of Samoa, and who resides in Samoa only by virtue of employment with SPREP.

  • Permanent Employees means all employees who are not casual employees, or employees working in a long-term supply assignment, as defined below.
