British Standard definition

British Standard means a standard adopted by a British standards organisation and made available to the general public;

British Standard means a standard or specification issued by the British Standards Institution;

British Standard means any standard published by the British Standards Institution including adopted European or other international standards.

• Any pruning works approved shall be carried out in accordance with British Standard 3998 (Tree Work).
