BUDGETARY ALLOWANCE definition

BUDGETARY ALLOWANCE means a sum of money included in the contract sum for work intended for execution by the contractor, the extent of which is identified but not detailed.
BUDGETARY ALLOWANCE means the monetary value anticipated for finishes which shall not form part of the Contract Appointment. The partial or full allocation of funds from the budgetary allowance shall be at the sole discretion of the Employer and/or Lift-Consulting Engineer.

Except, however, the Compensation percentage limitation referred to in paragraph (e)(5)(ii) below shall not apply to: (1) any contribution for medical benefits (within the meaning of Code §419A(f)(2)) after separation from service which is otherwise treated as an "annual addition," or (2) any amount otherwise treated as an "annual addition" under Code §415(l)(1).

  • Special Allowance Payments means payments, designated as such, consisting of effective interest subsidies by the Department in respect of the Trust Student Loans to the Eligible Lender Trustee on behalf of the Trust in accordance with the Higher Education Act.
