Building Contracts definition

Building Contracts means a contract covering the purchase, long lease, usufruct, leasing, rental or hire purchase, with or without option to buy, of land, buildings or other immovable property. It shall cover both existing buildings and buildings before completion provided that the candidate has obtained a valid building permit for it, save when the building has been designed in accordance with the specifications of the contracting authority;
Building Contracts means, in respect of Hull No S.669, the shipbuilding contract dated 24 December 2004 between the Builder, the Borrower and Norwegian Pearl for the construction and delivery of Hull No S.669 and Specification Hull No S.669 dated 22 November 2004 and the appendices thereto marked 1, 2, 3 and 4 and, in respect of Hull No S.670, the shipbuilding contract dated as of 3 May 2005 between the Builder, the Borrower and Norwegian Gem for the construction and delivery of Hull No S.670 and Specification Hull No S.670 dated as of 3 May 2005 and the appendices thereto marked 1, 2, 3 and 4;
Building Contracts means the 4 shipbuilding contracts each dated 24 July 2017 and entered into between Borrower A as buyer and China Shipbuilding Trading Company Limited and Guangzhou Shipyard International Company Limited as sellers, each for the construction of a New Vessel.

  • The Owners undertake not to agree or to permit any changes to the Building Contracts which are likely have an adverse effect on the Market Value of the New Vessels or otherwise materially alter the Vessels, including any change in class notation.

More Definitions of Building Contracts

Building Contracts means the contracts between the relevant Borrower and the Builder on the tens and subject to the conditions of which the Builder has agreed to construct the Vessels for, and deliver the Vessels to, the Borrowers respectively (as the same may be further supplemented and/or amended from time to time) and “Building Contract” means either one of them.
Building Contracts means the building contracts pursuant to which the Newbuildings are being constructed as are more particularly described in Schedule 2 Part II (each a "Building Contract").
