Captain definition

Captain means a Pilot who is in command of an aircraft and its crew members while on duty, who is responsible for the operation of the flight controls of an aircraft, and who is properly qualified and designated by the Company to serve as and holds a current airman’s certificate authorizing him to serve as such.
