Card Brands definition

Card Brands means Visa, Mastercard, ATM or Debit Networks, and the other financial service Card organizations.
Card Brands means (i) Visa; (ii) Mastercard; (iii) American Express; (iv) Discover Network; (v) Diners Club International Ltd.; (vi) JCB International Co., Ltd.; (vii) China UnionPay Co., Ltd; and (viii) any other organization or association that hereafter contracts with Elavon to authorize, capture, and settle Transactions effected with Credit Cards issued or sponsored by such organization or association, and any successor organization or association to any of the foregoing.
Card Brands means Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Voyager or any other Card Issuers that provide Approved Cards that are accepted by You by agreement with the Bank.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, Bank may, in its sole discretion, effect a credit to the Operating Account in connection with any Transaction prior to the point in time Bank receives payment in connection therewith from or through the Card Brands.

  • Without limiting the generality of the foregoing or any other provision of this Agreement, Merchant understands that it and all of its employees, agents, representatives and service providers must comply with the Rules, including without limitation, those relating to Cardholder information security issues, non-disclosure of Cardholder information and Transaction documents, retention and storage of Cardholder and Transaction information and other security procedures adopted by the Card Brands.

  • By designating us as your agent for payment facilitation services, and remaining in compliance with the terms of the Agreement (including payment of all of our Fees), you will receive the right to accept payments from customers, clients and/or members (collectively, “End Users”) through validly issued bankcards (“cards”) associated with the Card Brands, and/or, if approved, through automated clearing house transactions (“ACH”) regulated by the National Automated Clearing House Association (“NACHA”).

  • Nothing in this Sub-Merchant Agreement shall be read or construed to interfere with or lessen the right of the Processor, the bank(s), or the Card Brands to terminate this Sub-Merchant Agreement; and, if this occurs, such termination shall not be considered a material breach of the Agreement by us.

These messages may be sent to the mailing address, phone numbers, email addresses or fax numbers of Merchant. Merchant may be contacted at its wireless telephone number and the communications sent may include autodialed short message service (SMS or "text") messages or automated or prerecorded calls.
