Carriage of Goods definition

Carriage of Goods means all logistical operations for the optimal transport of Goods, including the efficient planning, communication of the planning, loading, unloading, securing, transport, delivery, by order of ECS, as well as the structured reporting of performance, costs and the transport administration to ECS.
Carriage of Goods. ’ means the period from the time when the goods are loaded on, to the time when they are discharged from the ship; and
Carriage of Goods means the handover of Goods to the Carrier ready for carriage, the loading, stowing, lashing/unlashing, transportation by sea from a port of loading to a port discharge, discharge and delivery of the Goods performed by the Carrier – after and/or before any Terminal-Related Services (as the case may be) – in accordance with the terms of the Contract.

Carriage of Goods means the movement of goods from a source location to a destination location, through any mode of transportation.

  • Counterfeit Goods are Goods that are or contain items misrepresented as having been designed, produced, and/or sold by an authorized manufacturer and seller, including without limitation unauthorized copies, replicas, or substitutes. The term also includes authorized Goods that have reached a design life limit or have been damaged beyond possible repair, but are altered and misrepresented as acceptable. Seller shall ensure that Counterfeit Goods are not delivered to Buyer. Goods delivered to Buyer or incorporated into other Goods and delivered to Buyer shall be new and shall be procured directly from the Original Component Manufacturer (OCM)/Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), or through an OCM/OEM authorized distributor chain. Work shall not be acquired from independent distributors or brokers unless approved in advance in writing by Buyer. When requested by Buyer, Seller shall provide OCM/OEM documentation that authenticates traceability of the affected items to the applicable OCM/OEM. In the event that Work delivered under this Agreement constitutes or includes Counterfeit Goods, Seller shall, at its expense, promptly replace such Counterfeit Goods with authentic Goods conforming to the requirements of this Agreement. Notwithstanding any other provision in this Agreement, Seller shall be liable for all costs relating to the removal and replacement of Counterfeit Goods, including without limitation Buyer’s costs of removing Counterfeit Goods, of reinserting replacement Goods, and of any testing necessitated by the reinstallation of Goods after Counterfeit Goods have been exchanged. Seller shall include equivalent provisions in lower tier subcontracts for the delivery of items that will be included in or furnished as Goods to Buyer.

  • Equality Legislation means any and all legislation, applicable guidance and statutory codes of practice relating to diversity, equality, non discrimination and human rights as may be in force from time to time in England and Wales or in any other territory in which, or in respect of which, the Supplier provides the Services;

  • international application means an application filed under this Treaty;

  • Geneva Convention means the Convention of 28 July 1951 relating to the status of refugees, as amended by the New York Protocol of 31 January 1967;

  • Educator practice instrument means an assessment tool that provides: scales or dimensions that capture competencies of professional performance; and differentiation of a range of professional performance as described by the scales, which must be shown in practice and/or research studies. The scores from educator practice instruments for teaching staff members other than teachers, Principals, Vice Principals, and Assistant Principals may be applied to the teaching staff member’s summative evaluation rating in a manner determined by the school district.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Act means the Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 (Act No 85 of 1993);

  • Sealed Source and Device Registry means the national registry that contains all the registration certificates, generated by both NRC and the Agreement States, that summarize the radiation safety information for the sealed sources and devices and describe the licensing and use conditions approved for the product.

  • Country Risks means with respect to any Foreign Depository: (a) the financial infrastructure of the country in which it is organized, (b) such country's prevailing custody and settlement practices, (c) nationalization, expropriation or other governmental actions, (d) such country's regulation of the banking or securities industry, (e) currency controls, restrictions, devaluations or fluctuations, and (f) market conditions which affect the order execution of securities transactions or affect the value of securities.

  • Arbitration Act means the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and shall include any amendment to or any re-enactment thereof as in force from time to time.

  • Sex trafficking means the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person for the purpose of a commercial sex act.

  • Federal Aviation Act means subtitle VII of Title 49 of the United States Code, or any successor provision.
