CAT Member definition

CAT Member. (membre du TASC) means a person who is appointed to the CAT to mediate and decide Cases.

  • At the very least, it could be argued that U.S. legislation implementing CAT Article 3 evidences an understanding that CAT universally prohibits renditions of persons to countries where they would face torture, rather than only in cases where persons are rendered from the CAT Member State’s territory.

  • Unit Member refers to any employee who is included in the bargaining unit as defined in Article II.
