Certified nursing facility definition

Certified nursing facility means any skilled nursing facility, skilled care facility, intermediate care 1334 facility, nursing or nursing care facility, or nursing home, whether freestanding or a portion of a 1335 freestanding medical care facility, that is certified as a Medicare or Medicaid provider, or both, pursuant 1336 to § 32.1-137.

Certified nursing facility means a nursing facility licensed by the Department of Human Services that is certified to participate in the federal Medicare program as a skilled nursing facility, or in the Arkansas Medicaid Program as a nursing facility, or both.
