Contract of Affreightment definition

Contract of Affreightment means any contract or engagement for the carriage or transportation of cargo, mail or passengers or any of them relating to the Vessel whether now existing or hereinafter entered into by the Shipowner or any person, firm or company on its behalf;
Contract of Affreightment means a service contract under which a tonnage tax company agrees to transport a specified quantity of specified products at a specified rate, between designated loading and discharging ports over a specified period;
Contract of Affreightment means a contract for carriage of a specified quantity of goods in more than one (1) shipment during an agreed period.
