Class Wells definition

Class Wells means the oil and gas wells/properties that are included in the definition of the Settlement Class. Exhibit F hereto is a list of properties that are believed to comprise the Class Wells. However, the definition of Class Wells contained in this section 1.8 shall control in the event any such wells are not described in Exhibit F.
Class Wells means every oil and gas well that Range or its predecessors have operated or separately marketed gas from in the State of Oklahoma. The Settling Parties have attempted to prepare a complete list of Class Wells and their Claim Periods in Exhibit 1, attached hereto. The claims on Class Wells are only settled for the Claim Period(s) for each Class Well. However, in the event there is any mistake as to the Class Well name or description, or if a Class Well has been mistakenly omitted, that name or description may be subsequently corrected by agreement of the parties or Order of the Court, without further notice to the Class. The list of Class Wells shown in the attached exhibit also show in relation to each well the percentage of the Net Settlement Proceeds attributable to each Class Well that has been determined by Class Counsel. Exhibit 1 has been prepared based on the electronic accounting data and gas marketing data provided by Range through discovery in this Action, and production data obtained from the State of Oklahoma and other third parties. Range represents the records it provided are kept in the ordinary course of Range’s business operations and, to Range’s knowledge, represent the best information available to Range concerning the Class Wells. However, the data may include clerical and other inadvertent mistakes. The definitions of the Class (subsection 1.6) and Claim Period (subsection 1.3) for each Class Well are controlling for all purposes over the information contained in Exhibit 1.
Class Wells means Oklahoma wells where Continental is or was the operator and/or working interest owner/lessee under oil and gas leases from and after July 1, 1993, and that had oil or natural gas production prior to February 1, 2018.

  • From this data, the Class’s expert and Settlement Class Counsel will aggregate the production of gas on an Mcf basis from each Class Well for the entire Released Period and compare that volume to the total volume of gas produced on an Mcf basis from all Class Wells for the entire Released Period to arrive at a percentage of volume produced by each Class Well during the Released Period.

  • However, the Released Claims do include all of these same releases of claims against third party working interest owners only to the extent they marketed their shares of gas through any one or more of the Defendants (including their affiliated predecessors and affiliated successors and affiliated operators) as to gas produced from Class Wells during the Class Period.

  • Settlement Class Counsel may seek an order from the Court requiring current successor third-party operators in Class Wells not operated by Defendants to distribute such funds to the appropriate royalty owners in the Class Well.

  • The Class Claims relate only to payment for hydrocarbons produced from the wells and only to the extent of Continental Resources, Inc.’s working interest ownership in the Class Wells.

  • For the consideration stated herein, each of the Defendants and the Affiliates of Defendants additionally covenant not to sue any Settlement Class Members or their attorneys or any other person or entity for any part of the production volumes associated with their interests in the Class Wells, or for any monetary relief or other relief associated with such volumes of production; rather, such matters are hereby released as part of the Released Claims.


More Definitions of Class Wells

Class Wells means the oil and gas wells that are referenced in the definition of the Settlement Class, as set forth below in this Agreement. A list of the wells that are currently believed to comprise the Class Wells is set out on Exhibit E, attached hereto.

Related to Class Wells

  • Class I area means a mandatory visibility protection area designated pursuant to section 169A of the federal Clean Air Act.

  • Water well means an excavation that is drilled, cored, bored, augered, washed, driven, dug, jetted, or otherwise constructed for the purpose of exploring for groundwater, monitoring groundwater, utilizing the geothermal properties of the ground, or extracting water from or injecting water into the aquifer. “Water well” does not include an open ditch or drain tiles or an excavation made for obtaining or prospecting for oil, natural gas, minerals, or products mined or quarried.

  • Class size means the maximum number of students who can receive instruction together in a special class or resource room program and the number of teachers and supplementary school personnel assigned to the class.

  • Dry well means a type of infiltration practice that allows storm water run-off to flow directly into the ground via a bored or otherwise excavated opening in the ground surface.

  • Horizontal well means a well bore drilled laterally at an angle of at least eighty (80) degrees to the vertical or with a horizontal projection exceeding one hundred (100) feet measured from the initial point of penetration into the productive formation through the terminus of the lateral in the same common source of supply.

  • Mining overburden returned to the mine site means any material overlying an economic mineral deposit which is removed to gain access to that deposit and is then used for reclamation of a surface mine.

  • Class P Interest An uncertificated interest in the Trust Fund held by the Trustee on behalf of the Holders of the Class P Certificates, evidencing a Regular Interest in REMIC III for purposes of the REMIC Provisions.

  • Class LT-R Interest The residual interest in the Lower-Tier REMIC as described in the Preliminary Statement and the related footnote thereto.

  • Injection well means a well into which fluids are injected. (See also “underground injection”.)

  • Class CE Interest An uncertificated interest in the Trust Fund held by the Trustee on behalf of the Holders of the Class CE Certificates, evidencing a Regular Interest in REMIC III for purposes of the REMIC Provisions.

  • Class IO Interest An uncertificated interest in the Trust Fund held by the Trustee, evidencing a REMIC Regular Interest in REMIC III for purposes of the REMIC Provisions.

  • Shallow well means a well located and constructed in such a manner that there is not a continuous layer of low permeability soil or rock (or equivalent retarding mechanism acceptable to the department) at least 5 feet thick, the top of which is located at least 25 feet below the normal ground surface and above the aquifer from which water is to be drawn.

  • Class P designation on the face thereof, substantially in the form of Exhibit A-5 attached hereto, and evidencing a portion of a class of "regular interests" in REMIC III for purposes of the REMIC Provisions.

  • Test Well means a well constructed for the purpose of obtaining information needed to design a well prior to its construction. Test wells are cased and can be converted to observation or monitoring wells and under certain circumstances to production wells

  • Class A-2 Component The Component having such designation.

  • Class R-4 Interest The uncertificated Residual Interest in REMIC 4.

  • Class R-I Interest The uncertificated Residual Interest in REMIC I.

  • Development Well means a well drilled inside the established limits of an oil or gas reservoir, or in close proximity to the edge of the reservoir, to the depth of a stratigraphic horizon known to be productive.

  • Drip irrigation means any non-spray low volume irrigation system utilizing emission devices with a flow rate measured in gallons per hour. Low volume irrigation systems are specifically designed to apply small volumes of water slowly at or near the root zone of plants.
