Coach Officer definition

Coach Officer means a First Class Constable who is assigned to perform his duties as a training officer. The only exception to this is an experienced recruit who has attained First Class Status at his previous service. The rate of pay for members acting as coach officers will be as listed in appendix “A” of this agreement as it pertains to coach officers.

Examples of Coach Officer in a sentence

  • Payment of Coach Officer Allowance shall be on a bi-weekly basis.

  • Entitlement to the above-noted allowance shall be based upon the member’s assignment to act as a Coach Officer, and is not conditional upon the member having fulfilled the training requirements of the position.

  • Before being assigned to the role of Coach Officer in the first instance, an Employee will be advised in writing of the role requirements and the Employer’s expectations of successful performance while in the role of Coach.

  • Members holding the rank of Senior Constable shall be required to be a coach officer if requested and will receive Coach Officer Allowance.

  • In 2004 a review was conducted of the Coach Officer program (Coach Officers are assigned to every recruit constable).

  • Included duties are: Use of Force Officer; Firearms Officer; Computer Technician; Breath Technician; Scenes of Crime Officer or Identification Officer; Hostage Negotiator; Quarter Master; Coach Officer; Community Services Officer; and Officers assigned to Criminal Investigation Office.

  • The Coach Officer will provide input to the Supervisor for the purpose of reviewing the progress of the new Employee.

  • A constable who is assigned as a Coach Officer shall receive four percent (4%) of the salary rate of rank for such period of time during which the member is actually performing training duties.

  • A premium of $2.00 per hour shall be paid to an Employee for all hours they are assigned to perform the duties of Coach Officer.

  • A member required to assume the responsibility of Coach Officer under the Ontario Police College Recruit Training Program, or any other Recruit Training Program, shall receive one (1) block (6) days of non-cashable lieu days.

Related to Coach Officer

  • BD Officer means each officer or employee of BD designated as a "BD Officer" for purposes of this Agreement in a communication to the Auction Agent.

  • Health Officer means the Municipal Health Officer or District Health Officer or such other official as may be appointed by the State Government in that behalf.

  • Local health officer means the health officer of the local health department having jurisdiction, or his designated representative.

  • Review Officer means the officer of the Adviser designated from time to time by the Adviser to receive and review reports of purchases and sales by Access Persons. The term “Alternative Review Officer” means the officer of the Adviser designated from time to time by the Adviser to receive and review reports of purchases and sales by the Review Officer, and who shall act in all respects in the manner prescribed herein for the Review Officer. It is recognized that a different Review Officer and Alternative Review Officer may be designated with respect to each Adviser.

  • forest officer means a full-time employee of the department of natural resources who is designated a forest officer under section 1503.29 of the Revised Code and is in compliance with section 109.77 of the Revised Code.

  • proper officer (“swyddog priodol”) means an officer of that council within the meaning of section 270(3) of the Local Government Act 1972; and

  • Competent Officer means any officer authorized by the Corporation to act on behalf of the Corporation under this Contract.

  • Project Officer means a person identified by the accounting officer or accounting authority of an institution, who is capable of managing and is appropriately qualified to manage a PPP to which that institution is party from its inception to its expiry or termination;
