Between the Agreement Date and the Service Commencement Date, the ESFA may require the Contractor to undertake Readiness Activities. Failure of the Contractor to undertake any such Readiness Activities shall constitute a Minor Breach of this Contract. 2.4. Subject to Clause 2.5 the Contract shall expire on the Expiry Date, or in the event of earlier termination the Termination Date. 2.5. The ESFA may extend the Contract on the following basis; 2.5.1. On any number of occasions up to a maximum period of 12 months in order to ensure continuity of delivery of the Services, in any circumstances in which the ESFA consider this to be necessary; and/or 2.5.2. For such a period or periods as may be necessary for Apprentices recruited by the Contractor, during the Initial Contract Period, to complete their Apprenticeships; any extension under Clause 2.5.1 shall have the effect of extending the Initial Contract Period and in each case of an extension under Clause 2.5.1 and/or
