Auction Rules means the Mineral (Auction) Rules, 2015 and its subsequent amendments.
Mediation Rules As defined in Section 2.03(h)(i).
Arbitration Rules means the AAA’s Commercial Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures.
EU Retention Rules means: (i) Articles 404 – 410 (inclusive) of CRR; (ii) Articles 50 – 56 (inclusive) of the AIFM Regulation; and (iii) Articles 254 – 257 (inclusive) of the Solvency II Regulation, each as in effect as of the date hereof, together with any guidance published in relation thereto including any regulatory and/or implementing technical standards in effect as of the date hereof.
Risk Retention Rules means the joint final rule that was promulgated to implement the Risk Retention Requirements (which such joint final rule has been codified, inter alia, at 17 C.F.R. § 246), as such rule may be amended from time to time, and subject to such clarification and interpretation as have been provided by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Federal Housing Finance Agency, the Commission and the Department of Housing and Urban Development in the adopting release (79 Fed. Reg. 77601 et seq.) or by the staff of any such agency, or as may be provided by any such agency or its staff from time to time, in each case, as effective from time to time as of the applicable compliance date specified therein.
Mediation communication means a statement, whether oral, in a record, verbal or nonverbal, that occurs during a mediation or is made for purposes of considering, conducting, participating in, initiating, continuing, or reconvening a mediation or retaining a mediator.
Breach Notification Rule means the HIPAA Regulation that is codified at 45 C.F.R. Parts 160 and 164, Subparts A and D.
Credit Risk Retention Rules shall have the meaning set forth in Section 4.9(a).
Communication service means a service capable of accessing, connecting with, or interfacing with a 9-1-1 system, exclusively through the numerals 9-1-1, by dialing, initializing, or otherwise activating the 9-1-1 system through the numerals 9-1-1 by means of a local telephone device, cellular telephone device, wireless communication device, interconnected voice over the internet device, or any other means.
U.S. Risk Retention Rules means the federal interagency credit risk retention rules, codified at 17 C.F.R. Part 246.
Informal communications means any communication method other than written emails to the Point of Contact Person identified for this RFP.
Communications channel means a physical or virtual path of communications over which signals are transmitted between or among customer channel termination points.
Communications Laws means the Communications Act of 1934, and any similar or successor federal statute, together with all published rules, regulations, policies, orders and decisions of the FCC promulgated thereunder.
Accretion Direction Rule Not applicable.
Communication Services means aeronautical fixed and mobile services to enable ground-to-ground, air-to-ground and air-to-air communications for ATC purposes;
Communications Provider means a person who provides an Electronic Communications Network or an Electronic Communications Service;
Communications Act means the Communications Act of 1934, as amended.
Communications Provisions means the Communications Provisions in [Part 10, Chapter 4] of the General Regulations.
UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules means the arbitration rules of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law.
public telecommunications network means the telecommunications infrastructure authorised by a Party to be used to provide public telecommunications services between defined network termination points;
EU Securitization Rules means the EU Securitization Regulation, together with any relevant regulatory and/or implementing technical standards adopted by the European Commission in relation thereto, any relevant regulatory and/or implementing technical standards applicable in relation thereto pursuant to any transitional arrangements made pursuant to the EU Securitization Regulation, and, in each case, any relevant guidance published in relation thereto by the European Banking Authority or the European Securities and Markets Authority (or, in either case, any predecessor authority) or by the European Commission.
Communication technology means an electronic device or process that:
Private communication service means a telecommunication service that entitles the customer to exclusive or priority use of a communications channel or group of channels between or among termination points, regardless of the manner in which such channel or channels are connected, and includes switching capacity, extension lines, stations, and any other associated services that are provided in connection with the use of such channel or channels.
FCA Rules means the Rules included within the FCA Handbook issued by the FCA.
Ex parte communication ’ means an oral or written communication not on the pub- lic record with respect to which reasonable prior notice to all parties is not given, but it shall not include requests for status reports on any matter or proceeding covered by this sub- chapter.
