Community Development Area or “CDA” –the geographic area identified on the City map entitled “The Durham Community Development Area, Targeted Community Development Areas and the Xxxxxxx Street Project Area”, dated December 21, 2006;

  • In 2006, the Act was further modified to provide for an additional project area type, Community Development Area (CDA).

Related to Community Development Area

  • Community Development Director means the Director of City’s Department of Community Development or his or her designee.

  • Development Area means that area to which a development plan is applicable.

  • Redevelopment Area means the community redevelopment area described, defined or otherwise identified or referred to in the Redevelopment Plan.

  • Capitol hill complex means the grounds and buildings within the area bounded by 300 North Street, Columbus Street, 500 North Street, and East Capitol Boulevard in Salt Lake City.

  • Planned development means a real property development other than a community apartment project, a condominium project, or a stock cooperative, having either or both of the following features:

  • Research and development facility means an establishment engaged in laboratory, scientific, or experimental testing and development related to new products, new uses for existing products, or improving existing products. The term does not include an establishment engaged in efficiency surveys, management studies, consumer surveys, economic surveys, advertising, promotion, banking, or research in connection with literary, historical, or similar projects.

  • Mixed use development means a Building used, designed or intended for Residential and Non-Residential uses, where:

  • Redevelopment Project Area means an area designated by the municipality, which is not less in the aggregate than 1 1/2 acres and in respect to which the municipality has made a finding that there exist conditions which cause the area to be classified as an industrial park conservation area or a blighted area or a conservation area, or a combination of both blighted areas and conservation areas.

  • Rural area means any county with a population of fewer than twenty thousand individuals. "Small business concern," as used in this clause, means a concern, including its affiliates, that is

  • Management Area means the land and waters to which this Act applies by operation of section 4, and includes any land the subject of an agreement under section 11(1)(a);

  • Urban renewal project means undertakings and activities of a municipality in an urban renewal area for the elimination and for the prevention of the development or spread of slums and blight, and may involve slum clearance and redevelopment in an urban renewal area, or rehabilitation or conservation in an urban renewal area, or any combination or part of them in accordance with an urban renewal plan.
