Community Development Council definition

Community Development Council means a community-based decision body in a community that is composed of openly elected members; and “Community Development Councils” means more than one such council
Community Development Council or “CDC” means a community-based decision making body that includes a chairperson, vice-chairperson, secretary, and treasurer, and is responsible for, inter alia, preparing Community Development Plans and Sub-Project proposals, and for the implementation and management of Sub-Projects.
Community Development Council means each council to be established by the Project Implementing Entity under Part 1 of the Project for the purposes of facilitating community participation and oversight and consisting of openly elected members of the community, and “Community Development Councils” means, collectively, all such Community Development Councils.

  • community centre means any school, railway station, police station and other location providing a service to the community;

  • Economic Forecast Council means the Economic Forecast Council appointed under s. 4 of the Budget Transparency and Accountability Act, [S.B.C. 2000] c. 23;

  • Development Area means that area to which a development plan is applicable.
