Community Net Metering means a system under which community subscribers receive community
Community Net Metering or “CNM” means a billing arrangement under which the monetary value of electric energy generated by a CREF and delivered to the Company’s local distribution facilities is used to offset electric energy charges accrued during a Subscriber’s applicable Billing Period.
Community Net Metering means a system in which excess electricity generated on site may be sent to the grid for a credit which can be shared by multiple participating residents.

  • For each Subscription, a Subscriber will be enrolled in the Company’s Community Net Metering rider and receive a monthly CNM Credit as set forth in the rider.

Community Net Metering. / ‘Community Solar Garden’ means a form of virtual net- metering where the solar (or other renewable generation) electricity credits are applied to the home (or business electricity accounts) of subscribers. Although not presently allowed in Ontario, OREC would like to provide this service to its members when it is legally allowed in the province.

For purposes of Members Committee sector classification, a Member that is primarily a retail end- user of electricity that owns generation may qualify as a Generation Owner if: (1) the generation resource is the subject of a FERC-jurisdictional interconnection agreement or wholesale market participation agreement within PJM; (2) the average physical unforced capacity owned by the Member and its affiliates over the five Planning Periods immediately preceding the relevant Planning Period exceeds the average PJM capacity obligation of the Member and its affiliates over the same time period; and (3) the average energy produced by the Member and its affiliates within PJM over the five Planning Periods immediately preceding the relevant Planning Period exceeds the average energy consumed by the Member and its affiliates within PJM over the same time period.
