Construction Inspection Professional Engineering Firm definition

Construction Inspection Professional Engineering Firm means an independent Engineering firm, licensed in New York State to perform Engineering Services and having experience in Construction Inspection as defined herein. This firm shall be included as part of the Proposer’s team during the RFP Phase and shall be hired by the Design-Builder to perform Construction Inspection for the Project.

Construction Inspection Professional Engineering Firm means an independent engineering firm, licensed in New York State to perform engineering services and having experience in Construction Inspection as defined herein. This Firm shall be hired by the Design- Builder to perform independent Construction Inspection for the Project. The Construction Inspection Professional Engineering Firm may not be owned in any part or controlled by the Design-Builder, any Equity Participant, or by any construction subcontractor.

  • The Construction Inspection Professional Engineering Firm must take all measurements and collect all other pertinent information necessary to prepare a project diary describing the progress of the work, specific problems encountered, daily inspection reports, survey notes, photographic and video records of various phases of construction, and other pertinent data, records and reports which may be required by MURK or the Contract.

  • In addition, the Independent Construction Inspection Professional Engineering Firm shall have the responsibility to perform sufficient inspections and/or tests of the Design-Builder’s Work to determine that the Work performed by the Design-Builder and the inspections and/or tests performed by the Materials Testing Firm or Laboratory are in compliance with the Contract requirements (See Appendix A).

  • The Independent Construction Inspection Professional Engineering Firm shall be responsible for management and scheduling all QC Inspection and quality control sampling and testing of all items of construction Work for this Contract, as well as inspection of its Work for conformance to the Contract requirements.

Related to Construction Inspection Professional Engineering Firm

  • Professional Engineer means a person entitled to practise as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario under a licence issued under the Professional Engineers Act;

  • Site Engineer means an Engineer appointed by the SBIIMS at site as their representative for day-to-day supervision of work and to give instructions to the contractors.

  • Architect means the person or other entity engaged by the PHA to perform architectural, engineering, design, and other services related to the work as provided for in the contract. When a PHA uses an engineer to act in this capacity, the terms “architect” and “engineer” shall be synonymous. The Architect shall serve as a technical representative of the Contracting Officer. The Architect’s authority is as set forth elsewhere in this contract.

  • SBI Engineer means The Civil/Electrical Engineer in-charge of the Project, as nominated by the AGM (P&E), SBI, RAJKOT

  • Design Professional means architect or engineer.
