Continuing Contractor definition

Continuing Contractor has the meaning set forth in Section 7.4(c).
Continuing Contractor means any independent contractors of the Company who have, as of the date hereof, entered into Employment Arrangements with Purchaser, the Surviving Corporation or any of their Subsidiaries, as set forth on Schedule I.
Continuing Contractor means a contractor regularly employed by the utility on its own work who is certified by the utility as competent to adjust its facilities on State work, at satisfactory rates.

  • Award of a specific scope of work to a Continuing Contractor - During the term of the Continuing Contract(s), specific scopes of work may be developed and awarded to Continuing Contractor(s), by Amendment to such Continuing Contract(s), provided that the specific scope of work is consistent with the general types of Services upon which award of the Continuing Contract(s) was made.

  • The City may select the Continuing Contractor whose quotation, bid, or proposal is deemed to be most advantageous to the City to perform the specific scope of work required.

Continuing Contractor means each Target Service Provider who is offered an independent contractor arrangement with Parent or a subsidiary thereof, accepts such offer prior to the Closing, and remains an independent contractor of Parent or a subsidiary thereof as of the Closing.

  • Sub-Contractor means the person named in the Contract for any part of the works or any person to whom any part of the contract has been sublet by the contractor with the consent in writing of the Engineer-in-charge and will include the legal representatives, successors and permitted assigns of such persons.

  • Key Sub-Contractor means any Sub-Contractor: listed in Framework Schedule 7 (Key Sub-Contractors); which, in the opinion of the Authority and the Customer, performs (or would perform if appointed) a critical role in the provision of all or any part of the Services; and/or with a Sub-Contract with a contract value which at the time of appointment exceeds (or would exceed if appointed) 10% of the aggregate Call Off Contract Charges forecast to be payable under this Call Off Contract;

  • Prospective contractor means a person who is subject to the competitive sealed proposal process set forth in the Procurement Code or is not required to submit a competitive sealed proposal because that person qualifies for a sole source or a small purchase contract.

  • The Sub-Contractor means any person, firm or company (other than the Contractor) to whom any part of the work has been entrusted by the Contractor with the written consent of the Engineer-In-Charge and the legal representative successors and permitted assignee of such person, firm or company.
