Smart In accordance with the District’s agreement with FAU, SMaRT (Substituting with Mentors and Realistic Teaching) students will be used as substitute teachers in lieu of regular county substitute teachers. Lesson plans, seating charts and other related materials will be prepared and provided to SMaRT students in the same fashion and manner as required for a regular county substitute teacher. Use of a SMaRT student substitute in a classroom as proposed to regular county substitute will not create any additional procedures, preparations or work for the classroom teacher. The signed contract between FAU and District regarding these programs shall not be in conflict with parameters of this agreement.

Service Media means central heating and hot water systems, electrical services for power and lighting, drainage and water services, and any data or phone services provided;

Honeywell “we”, “us” or “our” means Honeywell International Inc. or Affiliate(s) who execute or assent to the Order Form. “You” or “your” means collectively the other entities executing or assenting to the Order Form. “Affiliate” means any entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with, another entity. An entity “controls” another if it owns directly or indirectly a sufficient voting interest to elect a majority of the directors or managing authority or otherwise direct the affairs or management of the entity.
News media means a newspaper or other periodical issued at regular intervals, news service in paper or electronic form, radio station, television station, television network, community antenna television service, or person or corporation engaged in making news reels or other motion picture news for public showing. Student media means any means of communication that are:
Apple means Apple Inc., a California corporation with its principal place of business at Xxx Xxxxx Xxxx Xxx, Xxxxxxxxx, Xxxxxxxxxx 00000, U.S.A.
Apex means a point on an alluvial fan or similar landform below which the flow path of the major stream that formed the fan becomes unpredictable and alluvial fan flooding can occur.

Student media advisor means an individual who is employed, appointed, or designated by the District to supervise or provide instruction with respect to student media.
Cisco “we” “our” or “us” means Cisco Systems, Inc. or its applicable Affiliate(s).
HKFE means the Hong Kong Futures Exchange Limited.
CTC means Canadian Tire Corporation, Limited together with its Subsidiaries (excluding the REIT and the REIT’s Subsidiaries), or, as the context requires, any of them.
TMDL means the total maximum daily load limitation of a parameter, representing the estimated assimilative capacity for a water body before other designated uses are adversely affected. Mathematically, it is the sum of wasteload allocations for point sources, load allocations for non-point and natural background sources, and a margin of safety.
Brands means the Sprint PCS Brands and the Sprint Brands.
EG means the Enforcement Guide;
Dell means Dell Inc., a Delaware corporation.
Alloy means a metal consisting of a mixture of a basic metallic element and one or more metallic, or non-metallic, alloying elements.
Digital Cross Connect System or "DCS" is a function which provides automated Cross Connection of Digital Signal Level 0 (DS0) or higher transmission bit rate digital channels within physical interface facilities. Types of DCS include but are not limited to DCS 1/0s, DCS 3/1s, and DCS 3/3s, where the nomenclature 1/0 denotes interfaces typically at the DS1 rate or greater with Cross Connection typically at the DS0 rate. This same nomenclature, at the appropriate rate substitution, extends to the other types of DCS specifically cited as 3/1 and 3/3. Types of DCS that cross connect Synchronous Transport Signal level 1 (STS-1 s) or other Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) signals (e.g., STS-3) are also DCS, although not denoted by this same type of nomenclature. DCS may provide the functionality of more than one of the aforementioned DCS types (e.g., DCS 3/3/1 which combines functionality of DCS 3/3 and DCS 3/1). For such DCS, the requirements will be, at least, the aggregation of requirements on the "component" DCS. In locations where automated Cross Connection capability does not exist, DCS will be defined as the combination of the functionality provided by a Digital Signal Cross Connect (DSX) or Light Guide Cross Connect (LGX) patch panels and D4 channel banks or other DS0 and above multiplexing equipment used to provide the function of a manual Cross Connection. Interconnection is between a DSX or LGX to a Switch, another Cross Connection, or other service platform device.
SNAP means the supplemental nutrition assistance program administered by the U.S. department of agriculture, which helps low-income families purchase healthy food. SNAP was previously referred to as food stamps employment and training program.
