Contributing Companies definition

Contributing Companies has the meaning set forth in the Distribution Agreement.
Contributing Companies means Verizon New England, NYNEX Long Distance Company, Xxxx Atlantic Communications Inc., Verizon Select Services Inc., Verizon Internet Services Inc., and, any Subsidiary of Verizon that employs Continuing Employees (as defined in the Merger Agreement) as of the Closing Date.
Contributing Companies means SCO and any subsidiary of SCO (other than the Contributed Companies) which may own any interest in the Contributed Stock and Assets to be conveyed to Newco or that is liable for any Assumed Liability to be assumed by Newco under the term of this Agreement.
