Courtesy Staff definition

Courtesy Staff means members of the Professional Staff meeting the qualifications set forth in Section C-2.
Courtesy Staff means physicians appointed to the courtesy staff group of the Medical Staff in Article 7.06.
Courtesy Staff or "Courtesy Medical Staff" means those Medical Staff members who do not intend to use the Hospital as their primary Hospital for practicing medicine, but who upon occasion, because of their association with Active staff members and/or place of practice, need access and may choose to utilize the Hospital to accommodate their patients and colleagues.

  • Members of the Courtesy Staff must be Active, not provisional, Staff members in good standing at another accredited healthcare facility that will provide credentialing and performance improvement/patient safety data necessary for documentation of current clinical competence.

  • The membership of the Medical Staff is divided into five (5) categories: Active Staff, Courtesy Staff, Consulting Staff, Affiliated Staff, and Honorary Staff.

  • Members of the Courtesy Staff must have attained American Board specialty certification or its equivalent upon application.

  • The Courtesy Staff member may be granted clinical privileges based upon documentation of training and experience.

  • The Courtesy Staff shall consist of practitioners, each of whom meets the basic qualifications set forth in Article III, Section 4, but, who do not regularly admit patients to the Hospital or are not regularly involved in the care of Hospital patients.

  • Appointment to the Courtesy Staff is intended to be a limited appointment for purposes of occasional inpatient admissions or outpatient care in accord with those clinical privileges as granted by the terms of the appointment, the goals of the Hospital, bed availability, and the needs of the Active Staff and their patients.

  • Courtesy Staff may attend meetings of the Medical Staff and Department to which they are appointed, but are not eligible to vote, hold office, or serve on Medical Staff Committees.

  • A member of the Courtesy Staff must be a member of the Active Medical Staff of another hospital where s/he actively participates in quality improvement activities similar to those required of the Active Staff at UNC Hospitals.

  • MEDICAL STAFF LEADER means any Medical Staff Officer, department chair, section chief, and committee chair.

  • Program Staff means a person employed by the local program who is knowledgeable in a particular subject matter. For the purposes of the complaint process, program staff may not be involved in a specific complaint prior to the receipt of the complaint or the request for a review of the complaint.

  • Medical Staff means all physicians, dentists, oral surgeons, and podiatrists who have been appointed to the Medical Staff by the Board.

  • Key Staff means staff in positions of executive or managerial responsibility and/or whose performance affects the viability of the business;

  • Clinical staff means persons who work in a hospital whose duties include the personal care or medical treatment of patients. “Clinical staff” includes, but is not limited to, credentialed physicians, physicians’ assistants, nurses, nursing aides, medical technicians, therapists, and other individuals involved in the personal care or medical treatment of patients.

  • Professional Staff means the Medical Staff, Dental Staff, Midwifery Staff and Extended Class Nursing Staff;

  • Training manager means the individual responsible for administering a training program and monitoring the performance of principal instructors and guest instructors.

This includes children and youth who are sharing the housing of other persons due to loss of housing, economic hardship or a similar reason, living in motels, parks or campgrounds; or children or youth who have a primary nighttime residence that is a public or private place not designed for or ordinarily used as a sleeping accommodation by human beings; or children or youth living in cars, abandoned buildings or substandard housing or similar situations; or migratory children because they are living in circumstances like those described above. “Substandard housing” may be determined by considering factors such as whether the setting in which the child or youth is living lacks water, electricity or heat; is infested with vermin or mold; lacks a working kitchen or toilet, or presents unreasonable dangers to adults, children or persons with disabilities. Cities, counties and states have varying housing codes that further define housing deemed substandard by law.

  • Supplier Staff means all persons employed by the Supplier together with the Supplier's servants, agents, suppliers and Sub-Contractors used in the performance of its obligations under this Framework Agreement or any Call-Off Agreements;

  • Operations Manager is defined in Section 4.8(a).

  • Project Staff means the personnel of Contractor and Subcontractors who provide the Work.

  • Staff means any individual who is a full-time, part-time, or an independently contracted employee with the Offerors’ company.

  • Project Management Agreement means the agreement dated the 20th February 1985 made between the Trustee and the Manager providing for the Manager to manage and co-ordinate the development and construction of the Resort and includes, if that agreement is terminated, any other agreement in like and similar terms made with the prior consent of the Minister;

  • Contract Manager means the DNR staff person who processes this contract, makes payments, provides and facilitates dispute resolution, provides technical advice to the Compliance Forester, and is the first point of contact for questions relating to this contract or interpretation of Work. The Contract Manager may perform the duties of the Compliance Forester.

  • Pharmacist services means products, goods, and services, or any combination of products, goods, and services, provided as a part of the practice of pharmacy.

  • Information Resources means any and all computer printouts, online display devices, mass storage media, and all computer-related activities involving any device capable of receiving email, browsing Web sites, or otherwise capable of receiving, storing, managing, or transmitting Data including, but not limited to, mainframes, servers, Network Infrastructure, personal computers, notebook computers, hand-held computers, personal digital assistant (PDA), pagers, distributed processing systems, network attached and computer controlled medical and laboratory equipment (i.e. embedded technology), telecommunication resources, network environments, telephones, fax machines, printers and service bureaus. Additionally, it is the procedures, equipment, facilities, software, and Data that are designed, built, operated, and maintained to create, collect, record, process, store, retrieve, display, and transmit information.

  • Program Manager means the HCAI manager responsible for the grant program.
