Medical Staff. The Service Provider shall have a medical director approved by the CPSA on staff who:
(i) has an active appointment on the Medical Staff; and
(ii) recognizes the authority of AHS’ clinical departments/divisions/ sections to establish medical standards of care, principles and policies and to determine level and extent of clinical responsibilities of members of such departments/divisions/ sections. The Service Provider must adhere to the ethical guidelines and norms as set out by the CPSA, the Medical Staff and other bodies having jurisdiction over matters pertaining to practitioners providing the Services to ensure that they will adhere to the ethical guidelines and norms as set out by their appropriate professional bodies, if applicable.
Medical Staff. Except as set forth on Section 4.23 of the Disclosure Schedule, the Shareholder has no Knowledge of a physician who is providing services on behalf of the Company who plans, or has threatened to terminate his or her employment or other relationship with the Company. None of the physicians providing services on behalf of the Company currently has plans to retire from the practice of medicine in the next three (3) years.
Medical Staff. To ensure continuity of care in the community, Purchaser agrees that the Hospital's medical staff members in good standing as of the Effective Time shall maintain medical staff privileges at the Hospital as of the Effective Time. On and after the Effective Time, the medical staff will be subject to the Hospital's Medical Staff Bylaws then in effect, as amended from time to time in accordance with the terms thereof.
Medical Staff. Attached hereto as Exhibit 6.24 is a true and correct copy of the medical staff roster for the Facilities. Seller has made available to Purchaser a copy of the medical staff bylaws currently in effect with respect to the Facilities, including any and all current amendments and modifications thereto.
Medical Staff. Seller has previously delivered to Buyer a true and correct copy of medical staff privilege and membership application forms, a description of medical staff privileges, all current medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations and amendments thereto, all credentials and appeals procedures not incorporated therein, the name of each current member of the medical staff of the Hospital, the age of each medical staff member, the specialty, if any, of each medical staff member, and all contracts with physicians, physician groups, or other members of the medical staff of the Hospital. There are no pending or, to the knowledge of Seller, any threatened appeals, challenges, disciplinary or corrective actions, or disputes involving applicants, staff members, or health professionals and Seller knows of no basis therefor.
Medical Staff. The Resident shall not have membership on the medical staff.
Medical Staff. The overarching consultation and negotiation committee for the Trust is the JSCNC. The Trust also operates a Local Negotiating Committee (LNC) which is specifically for medical staff related issues. The LNC will also be the forum through which the Trust will, where appropriate, formally seek the views of the medical and dental staff on relevant matter, including those which are of wider application to the staff of the Trust.
Medical Staff. The RAF is responsible for coordinating with its medical staff to assign a provider to each resident received. When possible, the transferring physician will contact the receiving physician to provide information regarding patient care. If a physician is credentialed in both facilities, he/she may continue caring for the patient. If the physician is not credentialed at the RAF location, emergency credentialing and privileging may be applied.
Medical Staff. Except as set forth on Section 4.29 of the Disclosure Schedule, the Seller has no Knowledge of a physician who is providing services on behalf of the Business who plans, or has threatened to terminate his or her employment or other relationship with the Seller and the Subsidiary. None of the physicians providing services on behalf of the Business currently has plans to retire from the practice of medicine in the next five (5) years.
Medical Staff. The Practice shall review the applications of physicians requesting to attend to patients at the Facility and forward a recommendation concerning such applications to the body making credentialing decisions for the Facility under its Professional Staff Bylaws. Subject to the Facility's Professional Staff Bylaws, a member of the Practice shall, at the request of the Company or the Executive Board of the Medical Staff acting under such bylaws, serve on the peer review committee that maintains oversight of all disciplinary actions with regard to any matter of such physicians or patient care personnel as needed to assure the quality of services and conformity to Company and Facility rules and policies.
