Covered food service establishment means a food service establishment within the City of New York that is one of a group of 15 or more food service establishments doingbusiness nationally, offering for sale substantially the same menu items, in servings that are standardized for portion size and content, that operate under common ownership or control, or as franchised outlets of a parent business, or do business under the same name.

Covered food service establishment means a food service establishment as defined by Tennessee Code Annotated § 68-14-302 or a retail food store as defined by Tennessee Code Annotated § 53-8-203, located within Nashville/Davidson County, that is one of a group of fifteen (15) or more food service establishments doing business anywhere in the United States, even if only locally, offering for sale substantially the same menu items, in servings that are standardized for portion size and content, that operate under common ownership or control, or as franchised outlets of a parent business, or do business under the same name. For the purposes of this regulation, covered food service establishment shall not include: • Religious institutions, including, but not limited to, churches, temples, or synagogues;• Nonprofit membership organizations including, but not limited to, civic, fraternal, or veterans organizations;• Educational institutions, including, but not limited to, day care centers, group day child homes, primary, or secondary education;• Health care institutions, including, but not limited to, hospitals, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, veterans administration facilities, mental health facilities, group adult homes or mobile food facilities;• Correctional facilities, including, but not limited to, prisons, jails or juvenile detention centers;• Entertainment facilities, including, but not limited to, stadiums, convention centers, auditoriums, symphonies, performing arts centers, movie theaters, or theaters; or• Lodging establishments, including, but not limited to, hotels, inns, tourist accommodations, cabins, motels, or bed and breakfast establishments; However, when a covered food establishment leases, owns or occupies space within an exempted covered food service establishment, this regulation still applies.

Related to Covered food service establishment

  • Food service establishment means a fixed or mobile restaurant, coffee shop, cafeteria, short order cafe, luncheonette, grill, tearoom, sandwich shop, soda fountain, tavern, bar, cocktail lounge, nightclub, drive-in, industrial feeding establishment, private organization serving the public, rental hall, catering kitchen, delicatessen, theater, commissary, food concession, or similar place in which food or drink is prepared for direct consumption through service on the premises or elsewhere, and any other eating or drinking establishment or operation where food is served or provided for the public. Food service establishment does not include any of the following:

  • Temporary food service establishment means a food service establishment that operates at a fixed location for a period of time of not more than 14 consecutive days in conjunction with a single event or celebration.

  • Lodging establishment means any of the following:

  • Established geographic service area means a geographic area, as approved by the Commissioner and based on the carrier's certificate of authority to transact insurance in this state, within which the carrier is authorized to provide coverage;

  • catering establishment means a restaurant, canteen, club, public house, school, hospital or similar establishment (including a vehicle or a fixed or mobile stall) where, in the course of a business, food is prepared for delivery to the ultimate consumer and is ready for consumption without further preparation;

  • Retail food establishment means an operation that sells or offers to sell food directly to a consumer. Retail food establishment includes both a retail grocery and a food service establishment but does not include a food processing plant.

  • Food establishment means an operation that stores, prepares, packages, serves, vends, or otherwise provides food for human consumption and includes a food service operation in a salvage or distressed food operation, school, summer camp, residential service substance abuse treatment facility, halfway house substance abuse treatment facility, correctional facility operated by the department of corrections, the state training school, or the Iowa juvenile home. “Food establishment” does not include the following:

  • Cannabis establishment means a cannabis cultivator, a cannabis manufacturer, a cannabis wholesaler, or a cannabis retailer.

  • Marijuana establishment means a marijuana cultivation facility, a marijuana testing facility, a marijuana product manufacturing facility, or a retail marijuana store.

  • educational establishment means any school, college or other educational body designated by the Minister by order either specifically or by reference to a class, for the purposes of this Act;

  • fixed establishment means a place (other than the registered place of business) which is characterised by a sufficient degree of permanence and suitable structure in terms of human and technical resources to supply services, or to receive and use services for its own needs;

  • Continuous parameter monitoring system (CPMS means all of the equipment necessary to meet the data acquisition and availability requirements of the Prevention of Significant Deterioration program, to monitor process and control device operational parameters (for example, control device secondary voltages and electric currents) and other information (for example, gas flow rate, O2 or CO2 concentrations), and to record average operational parameter value(s) on a continuous basis.

  • Retail establishment means any business facility that sells goods directly to the consumer whether for or not for profit, including, but not limited to, retail stores, restaurants, pharmacies, convenience and grocery stores, liquor stores, seasonal and temporary businesses.

  • Funeral establishment means that term as defined in section 1801 of the occupational code, 1980 PA 299, MCL 339.1801, and the owners, employees, and agents of the funeral establishment.

  • Cannabis production establishment agent registration card means a registration card that the department issues that:

  • Minimum Generation Emergency means an Emergency declared by the Office of the Interconnection in which the Office of the Interconnection anticipates requesting one or more generating resources to operate at or below Normal Minimum Generation, in order to manage, alleviate, or end the Emergency.
