Covered Home definition

Covered Home. The real property at the Covered Home address that meets the criteria set forth in his Plan Agreement. Covered Items: The items, systems, and units (including parts and components) specified in your Plan Summary that are designed for residential use by applicable manufacturer specifications and either:

Examples of Covered Home in a sentence

  • If the Breakdown of your Covered Item occurs because it is the wrong size for your Covered Home based on manufacturer and/or industry standards, the Breakdown is not covered.

  • Sewage lines located outside the main foundation of the Covered Home and blockages from tree roots and foreign objects.

  • Not Covered: Decks, fences, and infestation or treatment of any area farther than 24 inches away from the main foundation/perimeter of the Covered Home, preventative treatments; any repairs or damages due to subterranean termites.

  • The foregoing is covered only within the perimeter of the main foundation of the Covered Home including attached garage.

  • Spot treatment for existing subterranean termite infestation located in the interior of the Covered Home or exterior of the main foundation/perimeter of the Covered Home and attached garage.

  • Note: If the Buyer Preferred Upgrade Package is included and the Covered Home is in a multi-family dwelling with four (4) units or less, the upgrade package must be purchased for each unit in the multi-family dwelling; if it is not purchased for each unit in the multi-family dwelling, any shared systems and/or appliances will not be covered.

  • Unless otherwise expressly stated in this Plan Agreement, we will not pay for the costs of construction, carpentry, restoration, or any other Modification(s) within the Covered Home.

  • The underlying sources of power generation (including electrical and alternative energy sources, such as solar power systems, and those components necessary to convert or otherwise utilize alternative energy (including solar power) in the Covered Home or fuel or associated fuel storage tanks for a Covered Item, or items that are designed to be powered by alternative energy sources, are not covered.

  • If the Covered Home is identified as a multi-residential building on your Plan Summary, shared systems, items, and appliances are not covered unless: (i) all units in the multi-residential property are identified as part of the Covered Home as stated in the Plan Summary; or (ii) each unit is covered by its own home warranty plan agreement with us which provides the same coverage for the shared system, item, or appliance as this Plan Agreement.

  • KITCHEN APPLIANCES Plans that cover this item: Buyer | Seller Preferred Upgrade Coverage is limited to appliances located in the primary kitchen area of the Covered Home and included in the contract to purchase at the time of the sale of the Covered Home, or be built-in.

Related to Covered Home

  • Manufactured home means a structure, transportable in one or more sections, which is built on a permanent chassis and is designed for use with or without a permanent foundation when attached to the required utilities. The term "manufactured home" does not include a "recreational vehicle".

  • Family home or "family residence" means the location or portion of a location where the applicant and his or her family reside, and may include basements and attics. It does not include other structures that are separate from the home but are considered part of the overall premises, such as adjacent apartments, unattached basements in multi-unit buildings, unattached garages, and other unattached buildings.

  • Manufactured home park means any tract of land upon which three or more manufactured or mobile homes used for habitation are parked, either free of charge or for revenue purposes, and includes any roadway, building, structure, vehicle, or enclosure used or intended for use as a part of the facilities of the park. "Manufactured home park" does not include any of the following:

  • Foster family home means a private home in which children are placed for foster family care under supervision of the cabinet or a licensed child-placing agency;

  • Manufactured home community means the same as land-leased community defined in sections 335.30A and 414.28A.

  • Foster home means the place of residence of any natural person in which any child, other than a

  • Adult family home means a home licensed under chapter 70.128

  • Residential care home or “RCH” means a residential care home as defined and licensed under the Residential Care Homes (Elderly Persons) Ordinance (Cap. 459), or as defined and issued with a licence or certificate of exemption under the Residential Care Homes (Persons with Disabilities) Ordinance (Cap. 613), or the boarding section of a special school subvented under the Education Bureau, or the residential facilities of the Skills Centre (Tuen Mun) of Vocational Training Council, or a nursing home as referred to in the Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Maternity Homes Registration Ordinance (Cap. 165) which provides residential services for persons aged 60 or above in Hong Kong.

  • Underlying Mortgaged Property With respect to each Co-op Loan, the underlying real property owned by the related residential cooperative housing corporation.

  • Manufactured-home transaction means a secured transaction:

  • Family day care home means a unit registered under Title 5, Subtitle 5 of the Family Law Article.

  • Mortgaged Property shall have the meaning assigned to such term in the recitals.

  • Abbeyfield Home means an establishment run by the Abbeyfield Society including all bodies corporate or unincorporated which are affiliated to that society;

  • Family child care home means a private home in which 1 but fewer than 7 minor children are received for care and supervision for compensation for periods of less than 24 hours a day, unattended by a parent or legal guardian, except children related to an adult member of the household by blood, marriage, or adoption. Family child care home includes a home in which care is given to an unrelated minor child for more than 4 weeks during a calendar year. A family child care home does not include an individual providing babysitting services for another individual. As used in this subparagraph, "providing babysitting services" means caring for a child on behalf of the child's parent or guardian if the annual compensation for providing those services does not equal or exceed $600.00 or an amount that would according to the internal revenue code of 1986 obligate the child's parent or guardian to provide a form 1099-MISC to the individual for compensation paid during the calendar year for those services.

  • funeral home means a building or structure with facilities for the preparation of dead persons for burial or cremation, for the viewing of the body and for funeral services;

  • Covered Vehicle means a private passenger vehicle (including mini-vans, pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles) which is registered or rented to You during Your Trip, which is rated ¾ ton in weight or less, not used for racing, dealer services, dealer loaners, taxi, limousine, shuttle, delivery, hauling, towing, road repair service, construction service, snow removal, or as a public livery vehicle, or any other commercial use.

  • Housing Provider means, with respect to a HOME Development, Local Government, consortia approved by HUD under 24 CFR Part 92, for-profit and Non-Profit Developers, and qualified CHDOs, with demonstrated capacity to construct or rehabilitate affordable housing.

  • New Home means every newly constructed private dwelling unit and the fixtures and structure that are made a part of a newly constructed private dwelling unit at the time of construction.
