Currency Linked Notes means Notes which are Currency-Linked Interest Notes and/or Currency-Linked Redemption Notes, as specified in the relevant Final Terms;

  • The Programme furthermore allows the issue of additional types of Structured Securities which may only be issued as Notes which are Exempt Securities, i.e.  Commodity Linked Notes;  Currency Linked Notes;  Fund Linked Notes; or  other types of Securities agreed between the relevant Dealer or Lead Manager and the Issuer.

  • The Issuer may issue Index Linked Notes, Index Basket-Linked Notes, Inflation Rate-Linked Notes, Currency- Linked Notes, Equity Linked Notes, Equity Basket Linked Notes, ADR/GDR Linked Notes, ADR/GDR Basket-Linked Notes and Preference Share Linked Notes whose Settlement Amount (as defined in the Terms and Conditions of the Notes) is determined by reference to an index or formula, changes in the Underlying (as defined in the Terms and Conditions of the Notes) or other factors.

  • The foreign exchange rate(s) to which the Notes are linked will affect the nature and value of the investment return on the Currency Linked Notes.

  • No Affiliate of the Issuer has any duty to enter into such transactions in a manner which is favourable to Currency Linked Notes.

  • An investment in Currency Linked Notes entails significant risks in addition to those associated with investments in a conventional debt security.

  • Such transactions may affect the relevant foreign exchange Rate(s), the market price, liquidity or value of the Currency Linked Notes and could be adverse to the interests of Noteholders.

  • Fluctuations in the price of the relevant currencies, commodities, or value of the basket of currencies or commodities will affect the value of Currency Linked Notes or Commodity Linked Notes.
