The formulae in this Article 3 are used in the calculation of the annual retirement income in respect of a DB Member, and the amount derived therefrom is the basis on which the actual amount of retirement income shall be determined in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Plan.
A DB Member shall be eligible for normal retirement upon attaining age 60 or older with 8 or more years of credited service, or age 50 or older with 25 or more years of credited service.

If the Member fails to make such an election within the allowable time period, the Member shall be deemed to have elected to remain a DB Member.
However, the State is still subject to the mandatory requirements of notification by publication of the proposed reclamation or works “in accordance with the rules in the Second Schedule to the LRA”.
If an electronic invoice does not comply with the requirements above, the invoice will be rejected and returned as incorrect and no payment will take place .
