Defence Force definition

Defence Force means any naval, military or airforce of the Government of the Republic of Sierra Leone;
Defence Force means any naval, military or air force of the Crown in right of the Government of Jamaica;
Defence Force means any naval, military or air force of The Gambia;

Examples of Defence Force in a sentence

  • An employee may be granted leave (with or without pay) to enable the employee to fulfil Australian Defence Force (ADF) Reserve and Continuous Full Time Service (CFTS) or Cadet Force obligations.

  • Pay for this leave shall be at the rate of the difference between the normal remuneration of the Employee and the Defence Force payments to which the Employee is entitled if such payments do not exceed normal wages.

  • An employee who is an Australian Defence Force Cadet officer or instructor can get paid leave up to 3 weeks in each financial year to perform their duties.
