Design Professional of Record definition

Design Professional of Record means an Owner provided Design Professional.

Design Professional of Record means the architectural and/or engineering professional identified in the Design Build Entity’s Proposal that is properly qualified and licensed in the State of California and is part of the Design Build Entity..

Design Professional of Record is the Design Professional retained by the Design Builder as the lead designer that is responsible for overall management of the various Design Services. The Design Professional of Record is identified in the Business Terms Sheet. Notwithstanding, each Design Professionals is responsible for stamping their own respective design and are the architect or engineer of record with respect to their portion of the Design Services.

Examples of Design Professional of Record in a sentence

• Design Professional’s decisions must be in writing and signed by the Design Professional of Record.

• The Design Professional of Record shall not be changed without written permission from the Owner, unless the Design Professional is incapacitated, is unable to perform, or leaves the firm.
