Detention Charges definition

Detention Charges means the charges assessed by UPRR to Motor Carrier after free time, if applicable, has expired during the period of time that Motor Carrier has possession of UPRR owned or controlled Equipment including UPRR Marketed Containers. Detention charges for EMP Containers will be billed directly to the customer that requested the EMP Container. Detention charges shall not be assessed by UPRR for Private Equipment.
Detention Charges means the fees set forth in Section 25.10 as specified in the Confirmation or, if not so specified, in Part IV (Elections) of this NGL/LPG Annex.
Detention Charges means the fees as set forth in the Confirmation, or, if not set forth in the Confirmation, as otherwise mutually agreed by the Parties.

Examples of Detention Charges in a sentence

  • For the purpose of determining Detention Charges under an FCA Transaction, time shall start at the first midnight following Free Time when the Tank Railcars are Constructively Placed or Actually Placed, whichever is first, at the disposal of Seller at the Delivery Location.

  • In the event Railway Administration withdraws the locomotive in accordance with the provisions of this Article 6.3.2 then, without prejudice to the Concessionaire’s liability to pay the Detention Charges to Railway Administration, the Indent for locomotive shall deemed to have lapsed, with no further effect.

  • The Detention Charges due Crowley shall in no way be dependent on the collection by Carrier of delay, demurrage, detention, storage, or other charges from the shipper, consignee or other parties.
