Direct emissions definition
Direct emissions means emissions from the production processes of goods, including emissions from the production of heating and cooling that is consumed during the production processes, irrespective of the location of the production of the heating or cooling;
Direct emissions means those emissions of a criteria pollutant or its precursors that are caused or initiated by the Federal action and originate in a nonattainment or maintenance area and occur at the same time and place as the action and are reasonably foreseeable.
Direct emissions means emissions from an air contamination source, including but not limited to fuel combustion activities, process related emissions, and fugitive emissions.
Examples of Direct emissions in a sentence
Direct emissions of sulfate were based on the values calculated for the Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) for the years modeled.
Diesel was used as a backup energy source, resulting in an increase in diesel consumption 2 This report adopts definitions in the Greenhouse Gas Protocol regarding direct and indirect emissions: • Direct emissions are those from sources owned or controlled by the reporting entity (Scope 1), including use of fuel for stationary and mobile combustion, and refrigerants.

Direct emissions means greenhouse gas emissions from sources that are under the operational control of the operator.
Direct emissions means emissions of greenhouse gases from sources of emissions, including stationary combustion sources, mobile combustion emissions, process emissions, and fugitive emissions.

Direct emissions means high-GWP refrigerant emissions from a facility that are emitted by refrigeration systems under the operational control of a facility owner or operator. Direct emissions are calculated as the total weight in pounds of each type of high-GWP refrigerant that was charged into a refrigeration system minus the total weight in pounds of each type of high-GWP refrigerant that was recovered from a refrigeration system, as reported in the annual Facility Stationary Refrigeration report pursuant to section 95388.
Direct emissions means emissions released directly from a stack, or other functionally equivalent opening.
