Direct victim definition
Direct victim means any person or entity described in section 611A.01, paragraph (b), whose identity has been transferred, used, or possessed in violation of this section.
Direct victim means the person who is injured or killed as a result of a crime. In the case of criminal homicide, “direct victim” shall also mean the spouse, parent, legal guardian, grandparent, child, sibling, domestic or civil union partner of the decedent, or parent of the decedent’s child.
Direct victim means a child who has been sexually abused by an adult, an adult survivor of child sexual abuse, or an adult who has been sexually assaulted.
