Examples of Domestic Bidder in a sentence
A Bidder may be granted preference as a Domestic Bidder subject to the certification from the DTI that the Bidder is offering unmanufactured articles, materials or supplies of the growth or production of the Philippines, or manufactured articles, materials, or supplies manufactured or to be manufactured in the Philippines substantially from articles, materials, or supplies of the growth, production, or manufacture, as the case may be, of the Philippines.
In the event that the lowest bid offered by a Domestic Bidder does not exceed the lowest Foreign Bid as increased, then the Procuring Entity shall award the contract to the Domestic Bidder at the amount of the lowest Foreign Bid.
The preference shall be applied when the lowest Foreign Bid is lower than the lowest bid offered by a Domestic Bidder.
If the Domestic Bidder refuses to accept the award of contract at the amount of the Foreign Bid within two (2) calendar days from receipt of written advice from the BAC, the Procuring Entity shall award to the bidder offering the Foreign Bid, subject to post-qualification and submission of all the documentary requirements under these Bidding Documents.
If the Bidder claims preference as a Domestic Bidder or Domestic Entity, a certification issued by DTI shall be provided by the Bidder in accordance with Section 43.1.3 of the 2016 revised IRR of RA No. 9184.
