Drinking establishment definition

Drinking establishment means an establishment the primary purpose of which is the sale of alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises and the secondary purposes of which may include entertainment, dancing, the preparation and sale of food for consumption on the premises, take-out food services and the sale of alcoholic beverages for consumption away from the premises. A drinking establishment includes any premises in respect of which a “Class Aliquor license has been issued and where minors are prohibited by the terms of the licence;
Drinking establishment means a development possessing a Class A Minors Prohibited liquor license, where the sale and consumption of liquor on-site are open to the public and where alcohol, rather than food, is the predominant item consumed.
