DS-3 Loops definition

DS-3 Loops means Loops that will support the transmission of isochronous bipolar serial data at a rate of 44.736 Mbps or the equivalent of 28 DS-1 channels. The DS-3 Loop includes the electronics necessary to provide the DS-3 transmission rate. A DS-3 Loop will only be provided where the electronics are at the requested installation date currently available for the requested Loop. BA will not install new electronics. DS-3 specifications are referenced in BA’s TR72575 as revised from time to time.

This Loop type is more fully described in Verizon TR 72575, as revised from time to time. The DS-3 Loop includes the electronics necessary to provide the DS-3 transmission rate. A DS-3 Loop will be provided only where the electronics necessary to provide the DS-3 transmission rate are at the requested installation date currently available for the requested DS -3 Loop. Verizon will not install new electronics and Verizon will not build new facilities.

Examples of DS-3 Loops in a sentence

  • The following section includes the terms and conditions for Copper Loops, DS1 Loops, DS3 Loops, Hybrid Loops, FTTC Loops and FTTH Loops.

  • For DS3 Loops that are operational on the date the Commission or FCC makes a finding of no impairment, CLEC will transition the DS3 Loops to another service within a time frame established by the Commission or agreed to by the Parties.

  • Sprint will provide DS3 Loops except where the Commission or FCC has determined that requesting telecommunications carriers are not impaired without access to unbundled DS3 Loops at a specific customer location, up to a maximum of two unbundled DS3 Loops for any single customer location where DS3 Loops are available as unbundled Loops.

  • Any existing DS3 Loops ordered on or before February 8, 2021 (“DS3 Loop Embedded Base”) are grandfathered until February 8, 2024.

  • Exhibit A to this Amendment contains DS3 Loop element descriptions and USOCs that are subject to the FCC UNE Relief Order, however this Agreement may also contain additional and/or older element descriptions and USOCs that are also DS3 Loops subject to the FCC UNE Forbearance Order.

Related to DS-3 Loops

  • Digital Signal Level 3 (DS-3 means the 44.736 Mbps third level signal in the time division multiplex hierarchy.

  • Aboveground tank means a device meeting the definition of tank that is situated in such a way that the entire surface area of the tank is completely above the plane of the adjacent surrounding surface and the entire surface area of the tank (including the tank bottom) is able to be visually inspected.

  • Incremental Rights-Eligible Required Transmission Enhancements means Regional Facilities and Necessary Lower Voltage Facilities or Lower Voltage Facilities (as defined in Tariff, Schedule 12) and meet one of the following criteria: (1) cost responsibility is assigned to non-contiguous Zones that are not directly electrically connected; or (2) cost responsibility is assigned to Merchant Transmission Providers that are Responsible Customers.

  • CAFRA Centers, Cores or Nodes means those areas with boundaries incorporated by reference or revised by the Department in accordance with N.J.A.C. 7:7-13.16.

  • Radiographic exposure device means any instrument containing a sealed source fastened or contained therein, in which the sealed source or shielding thereof may be moved, or otherwise changed, from a shielded to unshielded position for purposes of making a radiographic exposure.

  • Certified Remanufacture System or Verified Engine Upgrade means engine upgrades certified or verified by EPA or CARB to achieve a reduction in emissions.

  • Maximum contaminant level (MCL) means the maximum permissible level of a contaminant in water which is delivered to any user of a public water system.

  • Mining overburden returned to the mine site means any material overlying an economic mineral deposit which is removed to gain access to that deposit and is then used for reclamation of a surface mine.

  • Type B quantity means a quantity of radioactive material greater than a Type A quantity.

  • Plasma arc incinerator means any enclosed device using a high intensity electrical discharge or arc as a source of heat followed by an afterburner using controlled flame combustion and which is not listed as an industrial furnace.

  • Totally enclosed treatment facility means a facility for the treatment of hazardous waste which is directly connected to an industrial production process and which is constructed and operated in a manner which prevents the release of any hazardous waste or any constituent thereof into the environment during treatment. An example is a pipe in which waste acid is neutralized.

  • Available Flowgate Capability or “AFC” shall mean the rating of the applicable Flowgate less the projected loading across the applicable Flowgate less TRM and CBM. The firm AFC is calculated with only the appropriate Firm Transmission Service reservations (or interchange schedules) in the model, including recognition of all roll-over Transmission Service rights. Non- firm AFC is determined with appropriate firm and non-firm reservations (or interchange schedules) modeled.

  • Manual Load Dump Action means an Operating Instruction, as defined by NERC, from PJM to shed firm load when the PJM Region cannot provide adequate capacity to meet the PJM Region’s load and tie schedules, or to alleviate critically overloaded transmission lines or other equipment. Manual Load Dump Warning:

  • Low-level radioactive waste or “waste” means radioactive material that consists of or contains class A, B, or C radioactive waste as defined by 10 C.F.R. 61.55, as in effect on January 26, 1983, but does not include waste or material that is any of the following:

  • Maximum Available Minutes is the sum of all Deployment Minutes across all Apps deployed by Customer in a given Azure subscription during a billing month.

  • Credit Available for Virtual Transactions means the Market Participant’s Working Credit Limit for Virtual Transactions calculated on its credit provided in compliance with its Peak Market Activity requirement plus available credit submitted above that amount, less any unpaid billed and unbilled amounts owed to PJMSettlement, plus any unpaid unbilled amounts owed by PJMSettlement to the Market Participant, less any applicable credit required for Minimum Participation Requirements, FTRs, RPM activity, or other credit requirement determinants as defined in Tariff, Attachment Q.

  • Maximum Daily Quantity means the daily volume of Gas or Liquids, expressed in 103m3, identified in a Shipper's Interruptible Transportation Service Agreement that Transporter agrees to receive from Shipper under Toll Schedule Interruptible Full Path Service, Toll Schedule Interruptible Receipt Service or Toll Schedule Interruptible Delivery Service, as applicable.

  • Maximum contaminant level means the maximum permissible level of a contaminant in water which is delivered to any user of a public water system.

  • Drip irrigation means any non-spray low volume irrigation system utilizing emission devices with a flow rate measured in gallons per hour. Low volume irrigation systems are specifically designed to apply small volumes of water slowly at or near the root zone of plants.

  • Accelerator-produced material means any material made radioactive by a particle accelerator.

  • Aboveground storage tank shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 6901 et seq., as amended, of RCRA, or any applicable state or local statute, law, ordinance, code, rule, regulation, order ruling, or decree governing aboveground storage tanks.

  • Type A quantity means a quantity of radioactive material, the aggregate radioactivity of which does not exceed A1 for special form radioactive material or A2 for normal form radio- active material, where A1 and A2 are given in Appendix O or may be determined by procedures described in Appendix O.

  • Annular space means the space between the casing and the walls of the borehole or outer casing, or the space between a liner pipe and well casing.

  • Maximum residual disinfectant level or “MRDL” means a level of a disinfectant added for water treatment that may not be exceeded at the consumer’s tap without an unacceptable possibility of adverse health effects.

  • medium voltage means the set of nominal voltage levels that lie above low voltage and below high voltage in the range of 1 kV to 44 kV;
