Dual Career Appointment definition

Dual Career Appointment means a bargaining unit position, at least one-half of which is funded by the Xxxxxxx’x Office and/or other sources outside the academic unit, held by an Employee whose appointment is related to the recruitment or retention of the Employee’s partner to a tenured, tenure- track, or research-track position.

  • At the discretion of the academic unit, an Employee in a Dual Career Appointment may be given a working title in the adjunct series, without holding a regular non-instructional title at the University, at a rank deemed appropriate by the academic unit.
