Each Active Blend Enrollment Year Portfolio has a risk level that becomes increasingly conservative over time as the Beneficiary approaches expected enrollment in an Eligible Educational Institution and/or expected year in which funds will be withdrawn to pay for Qualified Higher Education Expenses.
Even if the value of all Accounts for a Beneficiary reaches the Maximum Account Balance, those funds may not be sufficient to pay all Qualified Higher Education Expenses of the Beneficiary.
The available tax benefits for paying Qualified Higher Education Expenses through these programs must be coordinated in order to avoid the duplication of such benefits.
