Health Care Professionals definition

Health Care Professionals means individuals with current and appropriate licensure, certification, or accreditation in a medical, mental health, or dental profession who provide health services, assessments, and screenings for clients within their scope of practice, licensure, or certification.

  • During a match is that is part of a Conference event using neutral Health Care Professionals (HCP) or neutral Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) to monitor the fields, if a player is suspected of suffering a head injury, such player may be substituted for evaluation.

Health Care Professionals means physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and emergency medical services personnel and, unless the context requires otherwise, includes hospital emergency personnel.

Health Care Professionals means individuals or entities involved in the provision of health care services and/or items to patients, which purchase, lease, recommend, use, prescribe or arrange for the purchase or lease of a Company product. This includes existing customers and potential customers. This also includes both clinical and non- clinical individuals who make product-related decisions of the sort listed above concerning a Company product (e.g. hospital purchasing agents, physician practice managers, management in group purchasing organizations (“GPOs”), etc.). A government employee could be a Health Care Professional if he or she makes decisions concerning the purchase, lease, recommendation, use, prescription or arrangement for the purchase or lease of a Company product. Gifts, payments or other benefits given to persons employed by or related to the Health Care Professional likely would be attributed to the Health Care Professional. Similarly, gifts, payments or other benefits given in the name of a Health Care Professional or to an organization with which a Health Care Professional is closely affiliated (e.g., controls the organization, is on the Board of the organization, has an ownership interest in the organization, etc.) will be attributed to the Health Care Professional.
Health Care Professionals means individuals who are licensed to practice in any health care field and individuals, who, because of their education, experience or training participate as members of or consultants to a review organization.
Health Care Professionals means persons with current and appropriate licensure, certification, or accreditation in a medical, mental health or dental profession, which include but are not limited to: medical doctors (including psychiatrists), osteopathic physicians, psychologists, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, licensed practical nurses, certified medical assistants, licensed physician assistants, QMHAs, QMHPs, chemical dependency professionals, dentists, dental hygienists, denturists, and certified dental assistants. These professionals may conduct health, mental health, chemical dependency or dental assessments of Members and provide screening services to OHP Clients within their scope of practice licensure or certification.
